i actualy like that beeR kit, the azz looks rediculous but front and sides f**king awsome.

tend to like the inline bt, but awsome looker,

hmmm, should i have spent the 20k on my s2 33 T or should i have gone the 32R, same price....

thats right, insurance and if something goes bang... couldnt afford that...

but then again... spending $$$ to get some power out of my rb25....

*goes and continues search for decently priced rb26 for engine swap.

lighter car, decent power.... yipppeee......rain....

THIS GOES TO ALL OF YOU. I asked one quesion if any1 knows if a gtr body kit would look good and fit a Gts-t R34 and all y-all came up with things like this bullshit right here.

So the reason for R34 GTR being your dream car is the look aye? if thats the case, my dream car is a NSX then i can make it look like a Ferrari.

first up i would love a R34 GTR but i cant afford one, and second of all i never asked about badges i just wanted to see if it was possible that was all. All some1 had to do is say"yes it is posible to fit a GTR body kit on Gts-t" and i would of been happy. but abusing me and makeing fun of me is just not on?!?!?!

i thought the point of this site was to help young such as myself to learn more about Nissan skyline, and encourage them to ask questions, for you to answer not for them to ask questions for you to pic on them about.

I hope to resive and appology form all of you who have been abusive.

regards

so did i, but unfortunately someone hops on to take the piss out of you, then 20 more people jump on the bandwagon so they can tell their friends how they 'owned some noob'.

yes it certainly is possible, but genuine GTR body parts are so expensive that it may end up costing you more than a 34 GTR. plus, converting the rear quarter panels to GTR would be very expensive and time consuming. it's probably a better idea to save longer and instead of spending $40K on a GTT spend $80K on a GTR. or look into the Bee-R R324 option.

The look and finish on a mucked up GTT to look like a GTR is a waste of GTR parts. The fit is shit and half the mounting points on the base models are missing. You will never get the full experience of driving a mocked up skyline compared to the Real thing.

This also gives GTR's bad street cred by Moronic Holden drivers who think they burnt of a GTR skyline and brag how good there club sport is!

Please help the GTR's to take there rightful place at the top of the mantel.

BTW it has been done and will forever be done, but you will get better resale value with the proper GTR compared to a mock up!

Thanks you too all that were able to give me some advise with out making me feel like a tool, I was just asking a question that a friend asked me and I was quires so I thought of asking you guys. Im sorry if I offended any1. But if you did get offended with my question then what do you all think of 32 33 with gtr bodies on them? You must want to key them?

I hope that im in no ones bad grasses. And thank you

Well thank you greatly appreciated

If you want to make your GTT look like a GTR then go for it mate. There was a yellow GTT that looked excally like a GTR (bodykit, guards etc) that was on sale here, looks hell nice. It had crossed my mind as well but like others had said it would cost quite a bit. I rather do performance mods first but hey its your car you do what ever you want to it. The East Bear GTR kit for GTT looks pretty good theres a pic in another trend of it somewhere.

Heres the topic http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=115160

Firstly, that mock Ferrari: the type of people impressed by a Ferrari are the same people that would know instantly that was NOT a Ferrari and an embarrassment to its owner. Ferrari is the pinnacle of the automotive world and making a copy like that is a disgrace.

The r324 looks really weird and personally if I saw it driving down the street I would not be able to contain my laughter. Why not buy what you can afford and make it look as good as it can, a 32 GTR can be made to look very mean and turn heads very easy, a mutant 32/34 will turn heads too but for all the wrong reasons.

But thats only my opinion, if you think a mock car looks good and you want to drive one then by all means, go right ahead.

yeah, sorry if i sounded a bit abusive, didnt mean to abuse you, my point was that no matter how real the car looks, it will never be a GTR R34 performance wise, thats all. and i think its a waste of money any way, who cares if you drive a R34 GTT? its still a nice car and one day you will be able to buy a real GTR. at least i have more respect for ppl like that than ppl who try to put on something fake.

but if you wanna go ahead and do it, yeah, it is possible, ppl have done that and honestly i could not even tell the difference by looking at the pics. also, those BEE R 324 are pretty cool, but again, y dont u just stick to the R32 look?

any way, i apologise for making fun of u, and honestly these are what i think on this matter.

hey yall. an idea that i like is sticking some parts of the gtr on to your car without going all the way. for example, if i had the cash i would put the stock gtr wing on my gts-t etc etc.... so a: looks good (although that is a matter of opinion.. please dont burn me) B: its a more or less original look (those little details make cars have a sense of originality IMO...) and most importantley C: i doubt it will cost as much.

ey?? ey??? (waits for people to agree with me)..

my 2 cents.

  • 6 months later...
do wat u will, but dont put the gtr badge on it LOL thats asking it for it

Better having a gtr badge on the r34gtt rather than that civic or that kia (remember those pics??) ..... :ninja:

Fake or not - what I have found is (and i lost count of the number of times this happened) people have pulled up along side me and asked me if my 33 was a gtr - No one will really find out - except for fellow skyline owners and other motoring enthusiasts who know their cars....

EDIT - i dont have a gtr badge on mine btw - infact its badge-less :(

Nothing wrong with making your car look good/better.

I say go for it all the way (likely to be expensive tho!!).

There is a difference between wanting your car to look like a GTR and actually pretending it is one. I dont think the original poster would answer 'yes' if someone asked if he had a gtr, unless of course the people asking the question were real gullible. :)

You'd still be jealous of 'real' gtr owners of course :P

So yeah my vote is make your car look how you like, realising that not everyone will approve of your taste. but i'd stay away from the gtr badges. making it completely "badgeless" would be cool tho :)

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
