yeh, thought we would give it is much as we can as my tuner and i want to give the E85 a go. the added octane and cooler temps should allow it.

Sounds like excellent news!

11:1 is a good compression ratio, a little higher than original...

Cant wait to see/hear a video of the engine roaring...

How much parts do you need to change to use E85?

I heard that from stock, you only need to change the injector, fuelpump and fuel filter and it should be able with a tune to run E85, or am I mistaking?

yeh, its all Gary stuff. the brakes are 330mm, wanted to run 17s, speaking of which, i picked a nice set of 8s & 9s up today.

suspension and brakes look good Stu. Is that blisteins, eibach springs and noltec adjustable bushes?

and the brakes are the 356 like we run?

no, that all sounds about right. i am running two 040 intank pumps & 42pound injectors.

Looking at your rear shocks you are running a GTR rear cradle. Would you happen to know the weight benefit? I mean do the bigger shafts just offset the alloy hubs?

The upgrade to the GTR cradle wasn't done for a weight advantage but for a strength upgrade. I don't think anything was weighed when the conversion was done.

pics,,, Rays Daytonas 17x8s & 17x9s

nice. they were a good buy. I was nearly going to grab them as a spare set for the silvia. then remembered I already have 3 sets of rims for the silvia.... :P

A complete GTR cradle compared to a GTS or GTS-T would be similar in weight but provide a lot more strengh to handle the extra two cylinders.

We did the conversion to alloy GTR hubs on Clinton's R32 and saved 3 kg per hub (the important part though is the reduced unsprung weight).

Heavier parts include the shafts, diff housing and additional front diff support bracket.

Common parts are the top arms, traction arms and lower arms (the only difference on lower arms is the balljoints).

hey Roy, i agree with Victory, the weight difference in the shafts will be compinsated for in the alloy hub assy. you may end up giving a kilo or two away in the centre but thats it. i couldnt tell you if the cradle assy was any heavier though. its difficult to weigh these big items, especially on bathroom scales.

    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
