it was around about 4.15-4.25pm outbound i was driving next to the far right lane u were on the left/next to far left lane same direction

Nah wasn't me, I was sitting a test at uni at that time. I got excited because I never get spotted as my Skyline blends in so easily. Needs fluro paint and chrome rims...

spotted, a bayside blue r34 gtr with a carbon fibre bonnet driving in traffic the opposite direction to me on station street and whitehorse road intersection, i almost crashed into the car in front of me in doing so

3 cars down, a silverish colour R35 very nice!

a few more cars down a silver GTT coupe

in the carpark, an R35 GTR with a carbon fibre bonnet

SKYLINE FEST TODAY!

^Or maybe you were just in box hill....xD !

Always see a white r33 coupe in level 3 (i think?) of the eng carpark at monash clayton !

And a silver 4dr in paid parking from time to time at the top.

Spotted a Vibrant Red R35 GTR cruise past me along the Princes Fwy while I was on my way to Port Melbourne. Older male driver, gave him a thumbs up and got a nod in return.

Then spotted a White R33 GTS-t on Raglan St in Port Melbourne. Stopped alongside him at the lights in my white S15. Also noticed a clean Silver R34 GT-t parked on Liardet St also in Port Melbourne.

Always see lots of Skylines in and around that area. Kinda reminds me of when I'm driving in the northern suburbs and just about every car I see is a Skyline, lol.

Spotted a gun metal grey R32 GTR this morning on Centre dandenong road turning right onto nepean highway - 7:25am had SAU stickers.

Also spotted a Blue S2 Stagea cruising along citylink around 11:30am near Bell Street turnoff heading out bound.

That must have been me, but wasnt turning onto Nepean I was going straight towards Charman Rd.

Okay so at uni today I saw a silver r34 sedan with sau stickers and a V35 coupe in blue with black rims and flames on the side.... I think I remember someone saying they owned the silver r34 sedan at Swinburne uni in Hawthorn?

^^ ya i saw the blue V35 trying to find parking near the station 3hr parking....also saw a white 34 parked there too... :)

Spotted a nice clean white 33R on monash this morning inbound....gave a thumbs up and got one back....sounded nice :D

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
    • That's all good, I thought I was missing some interesting feature! Maybe @PranK can double check if that is something that is meant to be operating or not.
    • I hope that is not something that bad. From what i remember he said that only first gear is "hard" to get in and that he has couple of ideas what to try next but idk 😕  hope it is not gearbox out. I will let you know.
    • If it's not the hydraulics, it is probably gearbox back out. Usually as per @Duncan's post, or otherwise associated with not getting the throwout fork positioned correctly. All the way up to catastrophically bolting shit back together without it being aligned properly and wrecking the clutch/input shaft/flywheel/something else.
