I remember being in the sad bus with Bill Pye in 2009 (Wrestpoint) and he was telling us he'd spent over $350K on building that thing of his.

Not to mention he has punted the thing off a 100 times, hate to think what the repair bills would be like!

I guess it keeps Grant in a job though!

....... and you got good money for it, so suck it up Princess!

...... and start building a GTS-t :D

Well a hug or a cup of harden the f**k up. Thanks woo. Have dried my eyes. All good. Really need to find out what all the fuss is about with GTST. :)

Was your car really 1100kg? someone said they saw it on my105

I will make no comment on the cosworth stroker crate motor but the car weighed near enough to 1260 at race weight. I weighed it after targa with a bit of stuff out of it at about 1245

Ah, the truth is finally out there about the engine. :)

Yeah, he is definately talking shit. Feel free to pass on the pic of the weighbridge piccy below. Not tat it actually proves anything as the car isnt in the pic.(SMS's it to Snowy to wind him up) :) I think it weighed 1270 at THC when they put it on the scales. Have nothing to hide so would happily confirm the weight if it was 1100kg. In reality the time attack guys with fully gutted cars struggle to get to that weight. Dont hink I have actually ever heard of a 6 getting that light. maybe 1150...

and Woo, you had me at cheap :)

Hmmmm. I think i have some idea of where the 1100kg might have come from. My service crew may have been guilty of adding some grist to the tassie targa fraternity rumour mill. :) Apparenbtly there was some chatter about my car when it was for sale and Greg got queried on it. When asked the weight his response was something along the lines of "I cant remeber if it was 1100kg with or without the crew in it." :) Farkin shit stirrer.

Greg loves a shit stirr!

But I had it on good authority from a guy that knows a guy who knows the guy who built the motor and its definately 2.4 grunter.. well that was the talk sunday night at the bar lol!

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
