Guys I just wanna say its more than possible for a car to have low klms-obviously depending on age- mine had- 14400klms when I imported but it was only 20months old & compliers certified my odometer. Japan is a small tight place so 5-10000klm pa is prob the norm compaired to 10-20000 for most Aussies. Sure Ive seen some shockers also but there are usually some indicators ( plastics/ leathers, engine etc)

Ditto, my 2003 came into the country in 2008 with 19,000klm on the clock. Had log book and Jap auction papers to match. Also the interior/exterior condition of the car matched. Having said this, no one takes into consideration the time the car is spent actually running. The Japanese drive short distances but spend a long time doing so.............think about it. Imports should really have timers not speedometers :)

Hi Guys,

I just got my baby transported to the local wharf last week. I couldn't bare to wait for DETORS to drag their high heels lol :P so I elected to drive her home while I wait. Then return for the Sticker on a temporary unreg permit. I gave her a good soak and wash... :)

That is called the "fauve" interior. Factory option and looks very nice.

Thanks for that, my Chrome translator has always called it Fobu... different type of leather to the black and beige and manditory with the faux wood interior... So much better than the beige but strangely less popular..

Only ever saw one sedan with tan and cruise.... Gave up on both in the end..

Very happy with the overall look of the car for now. Would still like to drop it an inch or so but i'm not in any hurry.

Was wondering what they would look like on a V35, now I know that they look bloody fantastic!

So over the last few months I've been doing a few aesthetics changes to my V36...powder coated wheels, angel eyes in my headlights and blacked out roof and grille. Debating to black out the side mirrors and fully black grille or to leave it...? Thoughts?

Hello guys! First time posting, although signed up on this forum a while back.
Got my V35 Coupe MT December last year and it has been an amazing car so far!

Car is basic package (no satnav or BOSE) but seems it was lightly modified in Japan by the Japanese ower.
It has TEIN height adjustable coilovers and Fujitsubo Legalis R? (not sure) Y pipe and exhaust. According to

previous owner, ECU was modded in Japan too but speed limiter (180Km/h) not removed so maybe not...

Car has been alright in fuel and it makes average of 9.8L/100Km, 70% freeway 30% suburb drive.

Anyways, a quick and fun car to drive!

Changing my RAYS TE37 to SSR GTV03 that I bought in Japan last August! Took nearly 4 months to get them as the manufacturer in Japan needed to make them...

I brought the front two as check-in baggage first as the size was available but the rears where not ready when I came back from holidays from Japan. My aunt posted the rear wheels to me in Melbourne and it finally arrived yesterday! The TE37s are much lighter but change in the look counts too!

SSR GTV03 Matt Black

Front 18" 8.5J +22 (11Kg)

Rear 18" 9.5J +22 (11.20Kg)

Same as my TE37s to keep the current spec. Will fit them very soon! Just put some rim guard yesterday.

Currently using SUMITOMO HTR ZIII 245/40/18R on the front and 265/35/18R on the rear.

Not bad tyres for the price but the inner side of the rears are wearing badly due to slight camber.. ;[

    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
