Wouldn't an R35 have made more sense? Being the current Jap hero, and actually being sold new stateside to boot?

Guess Paul Walker still has a hard-on for his 34. Good man.

I liked the guy before Paul Walker.

Im glad Vin is back..

But gee.. they really could of put more thought into the cars..

Tokyo drift bloke

He want as big of a pansy as Paul Walker is

His voice made my ears bleed

I liked the first one and tokyo drift, the 2nd one just pissed me off in parts and how could the main cars be an evo (not so bad) and an eclipse ;) wayyyy to much crome in the 2nd one as well

thought id add that i heard the r34 in the 2nd one was a gtt also, and i read that walker said he wont do another one unless an r34 is one of the main cars ;) that makes him good. oh and didnt r34gtr all have gold brembo's (not sure about them all being gold) the ones in the pics look like red gtt ones to me

oh joy... lets see if the next generation of p platers get their mummys and daddys to buy them an NA r34 (as they have no idea why skylines are a such a great car) and dress it up full wank spec and see how much of a wanker they can be..

as if the skyline name isnt tarnished enough by idiots from the last 3 movies, they decide to make another abomination.

$20 to the first person to walk up to vinnie and tell tell him to hit the gym

that's been happening already

since na/auto r34's are so damn cheap

the only good thing to come out of the 2nd fast and the furious was when it hit dvd and it had the turbo charged prelude to link the 1st movie to the 2nd one, the sound of the R34 cranked up over the surround sound was awesome, other than that it was just a hollywood rap video for ludacris and tyrese lol

Seems to look like Paul Walker will once again have his hands on a blue R34 GTR in the latest of the fast and the furious movies (Fast and Furious). In 2 Fast 2 Furious he was driving a blue R34 GTR for about 1 minute. Can we see this car as the main feature of this highly fictional (yet not bad viewing) movie?

Wasn't the one in 2F2F silver rather than blue? (I think maybe had blue cobra stripes and blue neons though or something).

Yeah, its a silver one. Paul Walker at the time of making that movie actually owned an R34 GTR

I remember watching an interview they did with Paul Walker back when 2 fast 2 furious was about to be released where he said he owned a r34 gtr and was thinking of getting, or already had, a second r34 gtr.

Its about time they had a gtr as a main car but at least they had the engine in tokyo drift....

Pity its not an R32 eh eh? (oh hang on that probably means that more wankers will stick to buying R34's after they watch the movie phew  )

F&F are some of vin and paul walker's truly finest comedies, they really capture the essence of the car action movie satire that is obvious from the writing, however they seem to be more about American "tuner" styling than true JDM. But I guess thats what sells dvds!

That said I'll probably still go to the premiere lol

I can imagine at the end of the movie, at the carpark, stupid people doing stupid things in stupid cars.

couldnt agreee more with you, everyone is going to think they can drive like paul walker

    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
    • OK, if it idles at 1000+ with the AAC, its not an idle airflow problem. The cold start valve just gives extra air when the engine is cold, but you have enough air without it to idle at 1000. I think you are back to a fuel problem, sorry. Can you see the fuel pressure staying constant or does it drop as the revs drop to a stall?
