I don't think that would be a problem. I can upgrade it to the latest profile, which is targeted at boost dropping issue with internal gate. PM if interested to go ahead.

If it hit a wall at 250 and pinged then I don't think holding 20psi through the whole rev range is going to really help anything. I'm going to keep searching and try find the issue

Unless a leaking PCV could be causing a boost leak and pushing oil out the failed cam covers ;)

Buy a new PCV to be sure, to be sure.

 yeah i know!

And YES i actually want the hose too!

lol that I cannot help with. I would have thought any old hose will do?

Useless :P

Maybe, i was just being lazy!

Cams are in. They are Tomei drop in 264 / 8.9mm lift. Now working with SS2 Alpha, Dyno tomorrow.

Driving them back from mechanics, the exhaust has a slightly different note. Haven't give to them yet, hopefully hitting 400rwkws+ while still making 20psi by 3500rpms.

Don't know. I was at TAB having dinner with bunch of Oddies while the Mechanic doing his job. It was done at Springymotors south east of Melbourne.

Hate people whom junk yard shopping that buys 2nd hand junk that don't work, that is been cheap-skating on basic mods as injectors, afm and ecu, It puts Trents in to a mood and that held every one else whom's waiting to get their car tuned.

Unfortunately I'm one of the two person whom's asked to go home and come back next friday. Leaves me with some extra time building SS4 Alpha turbocharger.

Damn Stao, it's gotta be 3 hours back to your place in this traffic. Was a shame, I wanted to see what it could do.

Wasn't it you last week with the cheapskate injectors? :P

They are 650cc Bosch injectors and they are working properly. Its more due to the one ended fuel rail in the KIA. the other once cam out of them are Power enterprise 700ccs, way too big for idle on that car.

The VNT setup on the SS1PU is chocking the Rb25det down low, not sure if its ok for the SR20det as engine capacity is smaller. I'm reducing the compressor end down to 69mm from 74. which should match the turbine flow while picking up better response. My last tune for this month would be next friday and that will be the SS-4 VNT turbocharger. The new SS1PU will have to be trailed after Trent gets back from China.

    • Yes the gear for the R33/34 is different, it is red and has a different number of teeth. My part didn't come with that gear though, so I don't know how many teeth are on the red one. You'd have to reuse the 260RS/R33 gear, as long as it's not destroyed.   Haha, as unfortunate as that might be it was working fine for about the first 1500km I've had the car for now.
    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.
    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
