The ATR28SS15 would be a perfect turbo for your application. I didn't look into some thing even smaller as it doesn't make that much of a difference in response but did loses quite a lot of power. I'

Remove one C clip on the rear holding the wastegate lever, pipe off the actuator extender, remove two bolts holding the actuator onto its bracket. turn it into the direction you want it to be, bolt the actuator back into its bracket and re-attache the actuator extender.

Alrighty update time, I've installed the new revised SS2 with the Ceramic Ball Bearing CHRA... and... holy fuark me it's amazing.

I was too lazy to touch up the tune but it's rich enough to be thrashed *cough* I mean tested lol.

I'm now able to get nearly 1.4 bar in 2nd gear! where with the old circa 2012 SS2 it would barely get 1.2 bar in 2nd. In 3rd shit just gets silly, I'm getting nearly all 1.6bar in around 4200rpm according to the inaccurate OEM tachometer.

I'll plug in the laptop for some logs soon for those data junkies.

A few things with the new CHRA, it's so much easier to install as you're able to bolt up the turbo without needing to remove the front cover like the old SS2. However the turbo sits lower so I need to cut my dump and weld it back up also the oil return need a slight bend to line up other than that it's nearly plug and play.

Sounds awesome. Would you be able to post a photo of the dump mod please? Keen to see how much work is required to upgrade from an old SS2...

Stao out of curiosity, can the new SS2 be built in a way that is fully plug-and-play with a 2013 SS2?

Although I'd still want to go ext gate off stock manifold, because more dose...

I'll snap up photos on the weekend,but essentially I needed to shorten the height of the dump by 1cm and clock it by about 5 degrees or so.

Mind you, I have a vband dump (special request) because I hate the Nissan dump with a passion!

Yes, discount will still be given. The earliest I can get it for you would be around the 10th of May.

I can give R33 Adaptronic base maps for users so they can drive their cars to the tuners (the one provided is horrible, you can't even drive your car).

Happy to share my maps with others too :)

Anyone want my modded SS2 rear housing?

45mm v-band for gate & 3" v-band for exhaust.. no more homo 5x bolt rubbish :)

      Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help and experienced opinions.  I have spent a lot of my life working on boats so I'm pretty good with fibreglass. I'll take everybody's advice in here;  I'll cut a little more of the 2nd layer away as it's a bit crunchy rust and also it's sitting high now. Then I'll wire brush it all a bit to get off anything loose, then I'll soak the bejesus out of it all in rust converter. I'll make sure to get a little hose piece and feed it into all the holes and gaps between the roof layers. Then I'll fibreglass up the holes.  Then I'll get a pallet of filler and mix it with 3 buckets of hardener and hope that is enough to build up the roof corner.  Does that sound sane? Is one type of filler better than others for this?

      My goals for it atm are to get it registered, respray and some mild power gains eventually... I picked up the car from an elderly gentleman near the border of NSW and VIC, its honestly a bit rough and looks like its been driven on a farm (because there was so much dirt underneath). Last week I dropped the subframe and emptied the old fuel out + added a new fuel pump (think the old one went bad from old fuel). Now I'm onto fixing a coolant leak at the rear of the engine + adding a new radiator as the old one is corroded. After that i have a new bumper, coils (as the old were leaking) and lots more

      Love this so much! Please post a photo when you have a bike on the trailer.  I was a little bit worried about having a tow bar on the Skyline, but having it hidden behind the number plate is genius
