The SLot Car will be there, how could I not. Lots of Nissans, crazy fool drivers, awesome track and soon to close. This will be the second time at Oran that week for me and the Mad Max mobile, and make 15 track days in last twelve months.

dnissi and others keep an eye on your mirrors.

Hey JP I'll give "keep an eye on your mirrors" a miss buddy. But can you do it for me,,,I'd hate to have a door slammed in my face.

Nice lttle vid John,,,I've got similar,,,just in reverse order.:D:D

Passed out,,,I think not,,,.

here's a nice litttle vid.

Nice work Neil, looks like heaps of fun to drive, gotta love the gear changes eh!

I seriously don't think I could ever go back to a conventional engine/gearbox car for circuit fun after driving a motorbike engined vehicle just way too much pointless crap to deal with just to get it to the track. When you think about it, 2 blokes can lift your entire engine/gearbox, its a dead stock road engine/gearbox/clutch and yet it's still able to mix it up with a 400+ kw car that has brakes bigger than my dinner plates.

Can't wait to hit OP.

excellent - andrew has a deadline now......

Car won't be ready :(

It won't have any suspension in it (as I'm finding it hard to get any kind of forward movement with the suspension distributor), so I'll just be puttering around, running in the new brakes, and checking engine temps

Should be fun to get the car moving anyway.

Paid ;)

Nice Neil, vid from open wheeler is trick. There was another session where I was chasing you for about 4 hot laps, and nothing in it. Do you have a vid of that? It won't show my car, as I was behind you, but interesting to see your times which can be measured from vid?

A motorsport engineer is coming to UAS tomorrow, checking roll centres etc, to squeeze a bit more out the speed boat.

It will be good to have Merli out again with us at the track, it has been a while.

ZED V GTR Oran

Yes I have more vids but I'm not really into posting them up. Actually I have heaps but they will stay in my collection.

I only posted it because you posted your fly-by.

We can have some more fun at O/Park,,,I will find it much harder with that long straight though. You pulled about ten maybe 12,,,nah more on wakie's straight.

Oh it's not an open wheeler by the way.

Neil.

Neil holds record in his class at OP GP....

Chris,,,John's just fishin for lap times,,,please don't tell me you had a stop watch whilst watching that vid JP. You did didn't you.

It's all good mate I'll be on 40 heat cycled tyres so it will be Radical 1,,,Zed 1.

I also own the class record on the shorty as well. But please keep in mind these are state supersprint records,,,3 laps is all ya get.

Neil.

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
