omg very very nice......!!

all you need now is to put the initial D  "Fujiwara Tofu Shop" sticker on the side and perfect!!!

just wondering, how much did you buy it for?

don't do that unless you can drive like Takumi. *cough*riceboy*

looks like it's in good condition. Is it an original Panda paintjob or aftermarket?

How much did the 86 set you back?

Thanks for the replies. I really didn't expect such nice ones.

I'm not changing the exterior anymore then it has been modified, and especially no chrome wheels! lol.

It cost all up $15000 which is pretty cheap for a Trueno. They are about 26000 aus in japan for an imacculate condition.

The work so far is

Ae92 4AGE - Converted to carb

2xDual 45mm Solex Sidedraft carbs

272 HKS inlet/exhaust cams and gears

Cusco 2-Way LSD

Roll Cage - (not installed in those pics)

BB Garage Front Bar

Cusco Coilovers with pillow ball mounts (camber, caster etc)

Some crazy fuel pump which is incredibably loud

I'm gonna go and talk to proengines here about some pistons and higher compression to tide me over while I build up a 20V and get back to EFI.

I don't think I"ll sell her just yet, but I know where to advertise if I do decide to sell :)

The original Paint code was 2T7 so I'm not sure if it is original, but it seems to have been many colours in it's life. The last colour being metalic blue.

Thanks heaps of the supportive comments guys.

Cheers

Mark

:blast: :headshot:

OK! I'm likely to cop a bashing here, so please excuse my ignorance

I've seen these "Trueno's" in Best Motoring against the GTR's, whats so good about them? "my ignorance will show here" I'm trying to work out what you guys are raving about, at least to me :O it not the prettiest of cars. Although I'm assuming it must have a hell of a motor/running gear, to pump the GTR in the BM vid.

Can someone please explain?

LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
