I sent my form to Nick... Can someone confirm he got it? ;)

Sorry... I just had to join the band wagon! :D

I'll check with him, Matt, but I don't think he received it...

;)

I have a lovely old guy that sells me tools,,,he's coming and he may or may not sell a thing but he loves the idea.

Spotting him will be easy,,,Mel's Skyline on one side and my Radical on the other.

Neil.

Shiny thinks I cannot resist.

everyone's forms have made it! faxes can nevah be beaten!

Please do not mail or send EFT payments after today as we may not receive them by the end of the week. If you have not entered yet please fax the entry form and you can sort out payment on the day.

got convinced to enter...

and just to make it look nice i polished the car. oh wait no i didnt.... i spent sunday and then monday arvo filling dented guard on his car and respraying it with my brother :) then managed to run my car into the arse end of a boat propellor on a trailer and put a 40 cm scratch in my bonnet. High five...me.

see you there lads, by sunday ill be a card carrying SAU NSW member. bring it on!

What time do the entrants have to be there by? I've taken responsibility of organising the Newcastle crowd (since the last attempt fell apart)
Hi guys, the show will run from 10-4, so as an entrant you would want to be there for about 9 if you are bringing car only or a little earlier (we will be there from 6) if you have a display, or trailer, or whatever

There yo go, Ian!

For all those who have not yet entered, please note:

As Sam said, we may leave this open until right up to the date, and if you're paying cash on the day, that's fine (unless, of course, we've filled up by then).

But if you are making an EFT or Cheque payment, you NEED to make sure it is in by close of business NEXT Tuesday (the 8th of December) so we can vaildate that the money is in the SAU account. Sometimes, depending on the bank, it can take up to 3 days for a transaction to show into an account, so we have to make allowances for this.

yeah ive got better brakes already, really helped at the 5km/h i was doing. a sodding great huntsman spider ran up my drivers side window and scared living shit out of me, kinda took my mind off stopping. pretty pro.

    • HELP   Hey all, Is there an accelerator cable from another Nissan that can be used on the R33 GTST RB25DET with a Greddy forward facing plenum?  Thanks in advance  Rob
    • Or do we think it was installed to give 1 bar of boost max, all day, everyday?
    • So could it be assumed it has been installed intentionally with potentially a power FC boost controller kit?
    • Had my rig on Matt's dyno at PITS the other day. After a few years between tunes I added a few sensors and swapped intercoolers. Result. 553hp at 26psi. Not bad for an FJ20 that was built in 2007. The problem.. It filled the overflow bottle on hard runs which leads me to believe the head gasket isn't sealing. I have a coolant pressure sensor which was reading cap pressure at 22psi and occasionally overrunning to 23/24 psi on deceleration after a pull. It was not spiking. It has arp2000 head studs and a cometic gasket. As its been 18 years in service, I pulled the engine out and head off. Everything looks good but we obviously have an issue. Where I'm at.. Years ago I had the same issue, I checked the stud tension and they were all over the place. Some at 60 to 70 and some up near 90. I nipped them all to 100ft lbs and this stopped the water push until now. I believe this compromised the gasket back then. What do I do? 2 options are..  1) I bought arp 625+s, which I could put in with a new gasket. Thinking Kameari this time, reassemble and try again. 2) strip the block, get fire rings machined in with copper gasket and try that. I do not want to push it more than 28 to 30psi. I think the turbo will be out by then anyway. (G30-770). My other concern is the long term ability of a copper head gasket. Are they streetable for years? I feel like a new gasket with the new studs will probably suffice, but I don't know. Any thoughts welcome and advice on copper gaskets and fire rings. Thanks!
    • I'm a fan of the JZX110, and the Aristo. Big cruiser cars, and with the factory cars, super comfortable and feel like you're driving an armchair! And the JZ motors are a pretty nice engine too, especially with some basic mods.   The import process, and the need to be able to trust people, and the fact there's so many scammers around is what ever puts me off wanting to go through that ordeal!
