Hey guys,

I just bought a new roll, so sheets of the 3M CF vinyl are now available if anyone is interested in wrapping it themselves.

1.2m x 1m = $130+postage (probably be $5-10 for express) OR pick up. Can also do smaller quantity.

On Carbonfibregear.com, they sell 1m for $112USD + $38.20 postage = $150.20USD = $164AUD.

That roof looks great! But I think you've taken "wrap a whole car" a lil too seriously :)

Haha, that's not my car :)

The guy wanted his roof wrapped so I thought I'd give it a go and it turned out awesome :)

Ive always wanted to do this to my car!may i ask how much vinyl it took to cover the car and also

was it one whole piece? youve inspired me to attempt this on my own car :(

On the Lexus, i used just one piece, so no joints at all.

A sheet of 1.2m x 1.7m.

If you need a sheet of vinyl, I can post one down to you ;)

Did a Lexus IS250F's roof last night, took 6.5 hours xD

Yeah, I don't know why he went with vinyl, maybe it's because vinyl is removeable? Lol

But the 3m vinyl looks pretty good on a $130,000 car xD

And as for you Jamie.... I know you want some of this in your car too

Hey man can I get a price on some carbon to do the B pillars, the black bit at the bottom of the Altia front bar, A/C vents, A/C controls and the tripple guage holder in an R34 GTT.

Oh and jrm referred me to you.

I'm in Sydney.

I've pointed to the bit I'm talking about.

Thanks,

Dave.

A few people has asked me about the black plastic on the R34 factory rear bar, so I've spent a couple of hours trying it out on my bar.

It took a little over 2 hours but pitty the sky was too dark to take some photos of the finish product, so here's what I've got, I'll get some better photos tomorrow :P

Cheers dude :P

As for your parts, the final day in the sun went very well, didn't have to touch it up at all. So once I see the dough, they will be on their way :P

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
