yeah i had that tyre wear on my car when i first got

some whiteline stuff sorted out, it still does it a tiny bit, but it got shitloads better, camber, castor and pineapple kit, from memory only camber will fix, but the other stuff is good too

ok... here is a 33 running stock-ish camber at full lock: (and no it's not me lol)

notice how the wheel is roilled over and not making much contact

now here is a 33 with more camber:

sweet :) thanks for that

More tyre on the road the better. Eg billys 4.5 deg camber on front would make te car understeer like a bitch when pushed on corners

i think v8 supercars are using ove -5degrees camber on the fronts

when the car leans into the corner the whole tire will contact the road, but chews through tyres on street :)

one is full lock the other is quarter bad example is bad hamish !

i dont have time to find another 33 on full lock with apt camber.... so this:

carsedc7.jpg

will have to do for now :)

Hamish is right, according to the centerline guys a track car runs between -4.5 to -5 for more grip, which I what I want.

My front is too low, needs to be raised :) upper arm was hitting the wheel arch hahaha

blasphemy!

billy how pulled are your front guards?

wanna see how mine will go with 9.5 -3 et

They have had a bit of massaging done by me and the front tyres....

It scrubs on full lock and around sharper turns and that running so much camber and 215/40, don't like your chances of getting a 235 under there. Maybe just a 10mm spacer will do you, if that.... I'll show you pics tomorrow

umm hame you posted two pics with the opposite wheels showing which doesn't get the point across imo. in anycase, castor affects dynamic camber, which is what happens when you apply lock. static camber is only half the picture. the more castor angle you have, the more the outsidewheel will camber when turning. after that it gets way too complicated for my tired liddle head to comprehend

also, U2 was FRICKEN awesometown

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
