No...That was only half the reason.... I had a bad headache and sore throat from sleeping directly in front of the heater saturday night.... I have only ever had a few hangovers, and to the extent where I have to consume therebouts of 2 x 700ml bottles of bourbon or equivalent in a short time.... I'm pretty good at holding my liquor....and can drink beer all day long

i cant drink at all..

2 beers and i'm down i rkn..

Oh yeah, and car is now waiting on the assessor, it will be in the workshop for about a week, or less, he said 4 - 5 days, so, YEAHHH

And as for the courtesy car, i have to rent my own and send them the invoice, and i cannot get a better car than what my car is, so what, do i get to rent a ute???

That's ridiculous. Just drink more and make your body adapt! Although I'd be taking advantage of that if I was you man.

I spend around $100ish on a night's clubbing and can still walk in a straight line out the door.

Alvin...ask them how much per day they are willing to cover for rental of a car and for how long...they all have limits on what they will cover. You don't want to be stuck with rental bills if they won't cover all of them.

If you really wanted to spend less on drinks you could beer it up. $3.50/pot x 30 = $87.50

If you can still walk after 30 pots in one sitting then you have alcohol consumption problems.

thats liek what 4-5 drinks these days big deal

I wish I liked cheap beer. I also wish that beer didn't make me hungover.

$100 isn't hard to spend at clubs where spirits are $9.50 or so.

Fucking hell!

What clubs you all goto?

imo, f**k clubs. maybe thats because we always get thrown out....

seriously though, bottle of scotch is like 50 bux from a bottle shop, they charge 9 bux for a squirt of it.

if your getting smashed on a budget drink at home

lol @ 100 night out in a club... mine are never below 200. Club booze is a joke these days. We usually warm up from bout 6pm and walk in 1/2 cut and um regularly down 250-300 which includes food, entry and maybe a taxi.

thank fk i rarely go out now, saving a fortune!

Oh and birdy, 12 stubbies is around 18std drinks. So standard drinks in a night out is easily possible.

The average rate is 1 stubbie pre half hour, and that's after warm up, i reckon id be around 30std drinks in 8/9hrs no worries. I don't go out for hrs lol. 10pm-5am is common.

yeh you lads are out of touch when i use to go out 6-7 years ago was minimum 200-250 per person so the rate of inflation/hectic hotspot tax id imagine id be dropping at least $350 + on a propper night out.

but i gotta gf and thus no life so its not an issue for me :rofl2:

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
