Hey all,

Well i just posted this on NS.com, so thought i may as well share the love.

So i was driving through Kew with a mate, and i saw at a park a Ferrari show and Shine. So i pulled over to have a look. Heaps of nice cars.

Anyway this dude in his immaculate F355 Spider pull out onto the road, he lights em up loses control spins it around and slams into 2 parked cars.

Everybody just stood there in shock for about a minute wondering what the hell just happenned. A young dude about 28 yrs old get out. The other two cars where pretty trashed.....both pushed up onto the footpath, while the Ferrari has a fair bit of damage.

I felt sorry for the dude, but on the other hand there was kids, and families around, so thats what ya get for being a *richard cranium*.

Serves him right, I wish everyone who went to show off like that would stack their cars and injure no one else in the process.

Oh yeah:

Hey man, you just f**ked up your Ferrari!

did you yell out taunts just to make him feel worse

"there's kids around dipshit, lucky you didnt hit one" - should fire up parents around to give him a boot also

"cops are gonna ream you mate, your f**ked"

"uh-oh, what's daddy gonna say bout this"

could also give him the good ol pinky finger when everyone is standing around..

hahaha... i find that somewhat amusing.. i mean, it would be sad if someone hit him.. that would be no good... and it would be a shame if he was just driving normal and made a human error and caused the accident..

but showing off!! that just makes it ok to poke fun at him.

unfortunatly the above comment is probably true.. he (or daddy) can afford another one, therefore he probably will still have no concept of "f#$king up"..

he should have to take it home, sit in in the driveway and think about what he did.. and then part it out like the rest of us shmucks that "f#%k up" to pay off the loan and have to drive a shitter around.

apparently there are alternate versions of events...

don't believe it's a daddy vehicle from what i know. How much would one of those go for these days anyway? it's an older model...

F355 is about mid-late 90s is it not. that means it would be a $150k car if you were lucky.

still not a cheap thing to smack around but they still do..

I know a guy here in brissy that has one as a toy and his shitbox daily is a 308.. go figure

    • I'm actually not sure - I think it was "Stealth Performance" (It really is near impossible to find a FEMALE 1/8BSPT to 1/8NPT male at ALL) but having the thing leveraged on a 90 degree angle on a small aluminium fitting is not too smart. Also in not too smart, I've drilled out the center of the broken fitting so there's maybe 0.00001mm of thread to bite into, so yeah. I may have to get it drilled/tapped/plugged entirely. Given I could conceivably tap a thread/adapter/pressure line in any point in the oil system I suppose it's feasible to run a line to the Nissan Sensor to keep the dash working. Do these exist in AN fittings and the like? Like an AN fitting that has a NPT (or other?) thread as well for putting a sensor in?
    • I would agree.  There will be an amount of boost you could run safely with an otherwise factory system, but it would be low enough to not be worth the cost.  And if you are reliving your 20s, you know a 'little bit' was never enough. Personally, if I didn't want to spend the money, then stick with NA bolt-ons, and maybe a tune.
    • Fuark, at least the motor survived. What brand was the fitting that snapped?
    • Wrong question. There's no point in spending the rather large sum of cash and effort to add turbo, without taking it to the "sensible" limit of the motor itself. If you have to upgrade injectors, etc, then so be it. That is a tiny fraction of what it will cost you to turbo it.
