innocentdemon Posted July 27, 2010 Share Posted July 27, 2010 i have a skyline gtr, was sitting in 6k revs in 5th gear, then all of a sudden it lost power. the exhust light came on and it started missing. i looked under the bonnet and the exhust manifold was red hot. any have any ideas wots wrong? StealthX Posted July 27, 2010 Share Posted July 27, 2010 250km/h for 10 minutes? start work @ 3 in the morning? I call BS. for conversation's sake, a red hot exhaust is fairly normal. I've seen manifolds, turbine housings and dump pipes glow red, but if its anywhere further down the exhaust than that, then you have some serious heat, and a glowing exhaust is the LEAST of your problems...
