Lets clear up one major point - E85 PUMP FUEL WILL NEVER BE HIGHER THAN 99 Octane, IT WILL NEVER GIVE THE SAME PERFORMANCE AS A 108 OCTANE E85 SUCH AS SUCROGEN.

FUEL CONTROL HAS DISTRIBUTORS IN EACH STATE - MERCURY MOTORSPORT, HP HEAVEN, HERROD MOTORSPORT, RED R RACING, BRINKS PERFORMANCE, RPW PERTH.

These guys build the best performance vehicles in Australia, so it makes sense they use the best, TARGA TASMANIA will ONLY USE SUCROGEN E85 AS A CONTROL FUEL.

So what I am I trying to say, SUCROGEN E85 / 108 OCTANE IS THE BEST. IS THE ONLY E85 THAT WILL GIVE YOU WHAT YOU NEED, $500 WITH FREE DELIVERY TO MOST PLACES.

Funnily enough I bought some of your product only today... But in saying that I wouldn't keep posting along the lines you have been in this thread, you are coming across and aggressive and unprofessional!

Also regarding the E85 pump fuel which many members on this forum are running in their cars is a LOT higher than 99 octane, so before you bag out other companies products (and possibly opening yourself up for legal action) I would do a bit more research

Cheers

Fuel talk aside.. How does the GTR feel to drive on the streets - only if you do of course :)

Sounds fantastic, my dad even loved the dyno clip. I would love to know how drivable a 1000whp GTR is! Major driveline mods??

It's fairly laggy at the moment but cruises quite nicely & smoothly at highway speed...

This car is a project and we've only just started fiddling around with the tune so we're expecting more power and more driveability in the coming weeks/months.

You better race down to sydney and melbourne and tell all those guys that are using that really low quality shit that all their horsepower gains are just fairy stories.

No one is saying your fuel isnt better quality but who the hell is going to pay 2buckfiddy a litre to fuel their daily.

given that it returns about 30% poorer fuel economy makes it an even worse proposition.

Your fuel has a place, no doubt about it but dont shit can the other guys product when it has proven results on the board.

Mate if they get good performance from that other E85, JUST THINK WHAT A TRUE 108 RACE E85 WILL DO, and I will shit can most other products as I have tested them all, I know what goes in the other products and its not all good, for a daily driver yes go the pump E85, every customer we get has used other brands of E85, when they use our 108 Sucrogen they never look back.

Ok Simon, legal action for telling the truth plus I have not bagged any company !!! I think you need to do a bit more research as PUMP E85 is blended with 89Unleaded and mixed with Hydrous Ethanol made from grains and wheat, it can never be over 98 / 99 Octane as government law states.

I am sorry but we have had over 20 phone calls today about other sellers claiming to sell our product, they dont, we sell the best we want people to know that fact, I have seen the result of E85 with no corrosion inhibitors, not good.

Whatever floats your boat mate. At no stage has anybody said there is not a place for a fuel of higher quality though I doubt it costs 150% more to produce. I guess the fact that it is only available in drums would add substantially to the cost of getting it to the consumer.

If i were looking for the last ounce of performance a la a dyno queen or drag car etc I would probably consider a fuel like yours, but for the high performance turbo charged street car or even track car where power can be dialled in or out almost at will The "lower grade" fuel has proven to be a cost effective, good performing, and safe fuel to use.

Guys my last say about E85...A picture is worth a thousand words.

So first you tell me the e85 I have been running for 6 months has the same octane as the 98 I used to run and now it will destroy my fuel tank too? You have been smoking something right?

My fuel lines will go brittle, my injectors will melt, the pistons will seize in the bore, any more misinformation out there? I have heard it all.

Don't all fuels have corrosion inhibitors added?

I will be interested in your product when you can sell me e100 though...

Well the picture look nice.

Without stating the conditions tested, any accelerants used, periods of time etc. Doesnt say much else really.

Either way i totally agree with Noel, probably more than 30% extra fuel use when you condsider you can make even more power/timing/boost which is only going to lead to added fuel consumption again.

I'd be interested to know how legally, retailers like Fueltown could sell you something that would corrode your tank over a period of time.

They are opening up their anus to some serious pain.

Side point - i will PM you about guest speaking @ our general meeting as you are Vic - we love hearing about products :D

...SUCROGEN E85 108 Octane is the only tested and race proven E85 in the Australian market place.

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE CROCK. You might have a anti-competitive monopoly agreement to sell to certain events, but that overpriced stuff is far from the only race tested or proven e85.

Until you sell it from a pump near me for 92c I really don't care. :ermm:

:D

Or until you sell it from a pump for who cares how much, as long as its a steady supply across the state .... I really don't care. :)

Or until I can cheaply get volumes of it to my house and my mechanics place so i can use it only for track days and other motorsport uses then ....I really don't care. :)

No doubt a quality product with an application...but from what I am reading its not available enough, the same price and really is a performance brew, much lik eother EFL etc race fuels.

But, interesting point about the anti-inhibitors etc and well worth considering

wow! fire up everyone.

I am running E85 Sucrogen in my car. have no proof any others are better or worse. all reports state it has the most consistent octane rating and the added 'benefits' of corrosion inhibitor.

At $1.00 per litre more than premium it sure aint cheap. Its like insurance to me though, absolute rip off until you find out you need it.

I have a motor which I don't really want to see go bang when the tune and fuel don't agree with each other lol.

V8fuel guy, whilst I am sure you mean well you need to relax. I am using your fuel via mercury in Brisbane, even so I think it is obvious you aren't doing anything to endear yourself to your customers, current or potential. not a good way to run a business.

Manildra is higher Octane, MATE YOU SPEAK CRAP ! The Manildra product is NEVER THE SAME OCTANE OR RON.

rant rant rant blah blah

:D:P i belive the term "off the reservation" may be apt here...

You sir are a complete tool. Did you bother to read the thread? Obviously not, because only someone moronic would come out with the statements you have.

CSR provide the E85 to United, (i can scan the brochure if you like although it doesn't say if United cuts it or it's supplied as E85) which is slightly inferior to Manildra's E85... obviously you aren't aware of this due to whatever hole you've crawled out of to post here. 'Nitto' confirmed that Sucrogen is not available at the pumps, ergo, CSR E85 i was referring to is NOT the Sucrogen you're ranting on about. You state yourself that you blend it, which i assume to mean you take delivery of E100 and cut it yourself.

Two different CSR fuels dip shit! READ next time... although from your posts, i'm not entirely sure you're capable of this

Lets clear up one major point - E85 PUMP FUEL WILL NEVER BE HIGHER THAN 99 Octane, rant rant rant *white noise*

What planet did you just come down from? For someone claiming to be so knowledgeable about E85 you clearing are just posturing behind a keyboard with ridiculous claims such as 'never be higher than 99 octane'. With the limited number of brain cells that you seem to have functioning, why don't you have a little look around this section at the results people have had with PUMP E85 and then come back and explain how this was possible on a 99 octane fuel. When you do, man up, admit you're wrong and piss off back to wherever it is you came until you have something constructive to add.

Sorry to offended you all, the point I was trying to make is ...There is different Ethanol and different Ethanol production, hydrous and non hydrous, non hydrous is the 100% pure blend that is used in medical and surgical applications, this is what Sucrogen use it also costs more to make, the hydrous product is what we are using at the pump, all Ethanol you buy from the pump will have some form of corrosion inhibitor. The pump E85 is blended with 89 or 91 Unleaded, 89 will be blended for 95 Octane and 91 will get around 98/99 Octane, it is the cooling properties of the Ethanol that create extra power. On the other hand the exhaust temp will rise, If you know the RACE E85 Mix you buy has been blended with real 98 Premium Unleaded you will get a much higher Octane level around 102 / 105.

Our E85 is always 108 octane, our E85 race fuel is blended buy fully qualified Industrial Chemists, each batch is tested for the Octane level.

And if I am such a tool or wanker why would I say the following - I can recommend 2 other brands of Race E85 that I would use if Sucrogen was not in the market place, Power Plus or Race Fuels.

So you make the choice.

Soooo, how about that Nitto GTR hey fellas?

Who gives a flying rats arse about the what fuel or who's sucking who's cock. I wanna see this at 3 bar boost. Now get to work

What nitto GTr.

But shell advertise 100 octane fuel with only 5% ethanol??

    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
    • OK, next the shroud needs to come off and there are a couple of tricks. Firstly, there is a loom from near the passenger side headlight to the fans, coolant temp sensor etc and there is no plug to undo.  In my case I was OK to leave the shroud on top of the engine so I just undid the passenger side fan plug and about 10 of the clips which gave enough free wire to put it aside. The fan plugs were super tight, the trick I used was a small falt screwdriver to push down on the release tab, then a larger flat screwdriver to lever the plug out of the fan unit....be careful with how much force you apply! If you need to remove the shroud altogether for some reason you will have to deal with all the plugs (tight) and clips (brittle)....good luck. I removed all of the clips and replaced them with cable ties that I will just cut next time. Also, in the Red Sport / 400R at least, the intake heat exchanger reservoir hose is bolted to the shroud in 2 places with 10mm headed bolts; so remove them (the hose stays in the car; no need to undo it at the t fittings down at the radiator lower mount. Once you've dealt with the HX hose and the wiring loom, there are 3x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the shroud to the radiator; remove those.   The shroud then lifts out of the bottom mounts where it sits on the radiator, up and onto the engine out of the way. Simples
