Someone draft up a letter slandering one's coverage that we can all send in. Looking at you Ash.

lol if i wasnt sick as a dog atm, i probably would

although they sorted it out in the latter half.

Clearly spamming the first half of the race simply due to viewer numbers/advertising sales

I've recorded all those great racing hero's so if anyone needs a copy get in touch, or even better if anyone has a site that can be used to host the files so others can download that would be MUCH better

Great race, awesome win for button!! 2 dnf's in a row and still only 12 points behind hamilton. It's not all about overtaking lol, hamilton is good to watch though.

Also good to see the mclaren boys overtake eachother without incident, they do it all the time. RBR could really learn something from that.

Gotta say though, it's all tainted by vettel coming second. He's effectively increased his lead over the chasers. They all have to finish ahead of him for anyone to have a chance this season

So much hate for this years World Champion and Red Bull's No.1 driver...hahaha...

That's partly because noone likes to see someone walk away with the championship, esp after so many years of good fights!

I'm hell keen for that, let us know if you find a server

Was so good to see Homo spin the thing right in front of me. He and Webber looked right stupid going for the tyres they did....but 8/10 cars speeared off on the same corner Homo did when it came down... Webber got a bit greedy, then got bumb brushed by traffic. It was actually the second time in the race, he had closed up to 3.2sec off Vettel in the first stint then hit a gaggle of cars that meant he dropped 4 seconds in the one lap!

Was a good race....now off to the bar

Great race, loved how wayward the cars were for the opening laps. It had it all, plus two things I've never seen before- (a) Red-hot metal shrapnel blasting out the side of a cars bodywork and, (b) Someone pulling a hektic drift coming into the pit box o_0

With the next meeting at the super-awesomo Spa circuit, that'll mean we've had three great races in a row. Enjoy your summer break you rich biznitches.

i'm now in the shit because the missus picked up the remote, started changing channels and then said "you weren't watching that were you?" i replied with "apparently not. i'll just watch it on the internet" and she goes and gets all stroppy, yet when she's watching a show i can't even talk, let alone pick up the remote. but now she's rolled over and is pretending to go to sleep, but when i finally turn off the tv i will be expected to roll over and give her a cuddle because i'm somehow the baddy. she will be waiting for a while...

lol. good man. freeze her out!!!

'that's what I'm talking about'

Shut the f**k up you knob

I know. if I hear vettel say it again and show his finger I will snap it off and put it so far up his nose it'll come back with his brain skewered on it.

Booked tickets for Melbourne 2012, Brabham 4 Corners, Crown Promenade twin room with queen beds, Qantas flights all pretty reasonably priced bundled together.

you will love it mate and $1150 each is still very good price. flights during GP time are usually a bit exxy, hotels even more so and brabham tickets alone ate $600+ (guessing 4 corners maybe a bit cheaper) but yeah, you will have a great time. melb airport to city is pretty easy. cab or bus. about 40min or so.

just be aware the pit walk is usually 'pit straight' as in down the main straight on the track, not actually inside the pit lane (which is what it was years ago).

Fark Hamilton. No care for others.

agreed. I was surprised the commentators and others weren't as appaled as I was. it was a desperate dangerous move. I'm glad he finally got a penalty because he does shit like that all the time. no regard for others safety just desperate not to let his team mate pass him. like a spoilt child.

    • New CAS just turned up from NZ Wiring. Looks like a nice bit of gear.  So, yeah. Triggered, bro. Realised I may as well do the cam belt while mucking about with it so will order one of them.
    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
