Anyone got any idea if it's coming out on Xbox 360?? I had a look online but it seemed to indicate a big fat NO!

We've been to stingy to get the PS3, there still well over $500 everywhere I've been. I was looking at getting it when it first came out but thought better of paying over $1000 for a console, with the idea that it'd come down in price reasonably fast

Mohsen have you been logged onto psn and updated the game yet? After you do this it will launch the game and ask if you want to install it (8gig) worth. Will load quicker and no more installing thingies

i got it yesterday. graphics are good but it didn't wow me at all which was a let done since they took ages to bring this outi would of expected a little bit more but can't comlain because the gameplay is awesome.

used cars don't have the view of inside the cars which was also a let down and you can't change bodykit and wheels either which is kinda fail.

just hoping they fix or add better bits in updates. also is it me or is there like sh#t all wheels to choose from compared to the other gt's? and another thing...my wheels and tyres on my s15 look like they are 17x6.5 +40 . and i upgraded them to advan rg's. is there a way to make the wheels wider?

otherwise a good game that will keep me occupied these uni holidays Lol

Came home to it on thursday with a note saying "because I love you, not because you made me" so ;) to the mrs.

I think its good. Have to play it more to see if its great. One thing I have noticed in arcade mode is there is no damage??? Can this be changed???

I hit a wall at like 150km/h then bounced onto track and kept going.

I thought maybe damage is only in career mode but have only done licence driving in career.

Now I need to go buy a wheel and hook it up to the net.

Mate you are dead right there is no Damage. I did some reading up on this today and it seems that it’s a progressive thing. So the More you play the game the more damage comes into effect. It’s so that when you first start playing you don’t write a car off every 5 seconds. It’s an interesting theory they have adopted.

i found a jzx100 chaser!!!11

toms tuned n shit

bought it AND did a drift session, after the 3rd lap of sliding, the tyres were still smoking and hot when i slowed down, i wondered if i had hit something and the guard was rubbing but that wasnt the case. fkn mad!!!1

To be honest the game has let me down, the more I play the more I feel that way, for one its two easy ive almost finshed al the races with a 32gtr and little things like the upgrades are simple and dont go into detail, inside views not availiable on used cars, its still a great game but when I consider the amount of time they took and the delays I would of thought it would have been better.

Has anyone else noticed you cant even buy brake upgrades? lol

GT5 'gameplay' is exactly the same as GT4. Turns too slow (lock to lock), grass and gravel do nothing, walls do nothing, touching another car does nothing... stuff looks pretty though.

Use to be GT all the way. Then i played forza. Still more fun than GT5

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
    • Welcome! New member myself, but I had an R33 back in 2002. Best advice I could give, based on my experience: if you're running the factory turbo, be very conservative with boost. I made the mistake of just fiddling around with the boost controller and cranking the boost for fun, and the end result was my intake pipes popping off frequently from the constant deluge of oil that was being blown into the recirc by the stressed-out turbo, which itself was siphoning oil from the engine and farting it out both sides of its centre bearing (or something to that effect). If I could do it all again, I would have gotten a new turbo and had a tune dialled in professionally and then just left it alone! Funny you mention the metal shavings in the gearbox, as I had the same thing - the probe plug (magnetic drain plug, essentially) would come out caked with shavings. At least it was doing its job. Not sure if that's just sacrificial wear and part of the deal, or if my gearbox was shagged, but I wasn't abusing it. Enjoy the R33 - they're a dying breed, and if they weren't $35k+ on CarSales in Queensland, I might have picked up one of those again, instead of the 370GT I own now (though I'm loving the 370GT, that big 3.7L V6 just hits different).
    • Howdy folks. I owned an R33 back in 2002, which was thoroughly beyond my capacity (financially speaking) to maintain/insure, so we parted ways in 2004. Fast forward 21 years (to literally yesterday, in fact) and I'm now the proud owner of a 2007 V36 370GT. I'm happily surprised by how much power the VQ37VHR makes, compared to the RB25DET, considering the latter is turbocharged. I had planned to add a turbo at some point but I'm on the fence about whether I'll even need it (though I do love the sudden onset of extra torque). Any other 370GT owners around the traps, I'd love to hear about your experiences with this car (good and bad).
    • Perhaps the answer is... more jacks!* *proper jacks must be used.
    • I NEVER think about using a scissor jack unless there is absolutely no other alternative. f**king things are dangerous, annoying and stupid.
