haven't changed anything....And I don't get a constant figure either...jumps from as low as 11.x to 13.x as a rev higher

Below 2.5k rpm its like 15-6ish

WTF is happening...

You got a leak somewhere?

Just installed the USA-spec pa15-nis. Very easy plug and play set up, only 3 plugs.

The sound is awesome as I expected. I can't recommend this enough to anyone (like me) that's wants to keep the factory single din stereo to keep it intergrated with the factory tv screen and wants to add in an iPod/iPhone to it. You can also add another audio device into the unit.

Music is all control either via the factory head unit or the iPod/iPhone itself and it charges them.

Only $160ish delivered via eBay out of the US.

Just took the car in for a wheel alignment, front bushes and ball joints are knackered.

I know SuperPro do the bushes, but anyone know where I can get the replacement ball joints?

Washed my filthy car today.rolleyes.gif

I've been looking at foam lances for a while now for my Karcher; prices ranged from $200 odd blink.gif to just under $75 delivered (UK). These are pro quality items, and you can adjust how much foam you actually get.

Anyway, I saw this at Bunnings; http://www.karcher.com.au/aus/Products/Home__Garden/Accessories.htm?&sdp=ac&pid=26418480&accessoriesGroupName=Special+applications&pn=Foam+nozzle%2C+0.3+litre&title=Foam+nozzle%2C+0.3+litre&refP=%2Faus%2FProducts%2FHome__Garden%2FAccessories.htm%3F%26accGrNm%3D10011604__Special%2520applications

2641848_popup.jpg It has a 300mL cup and was only $15!

It works great! Took a little fine tuning to get the mix right; and you need to work fast in the foaming stage, (the cup empties fairly quickly) but now I'm foaming like a rabid monkey!banana.gif

For anyone who's wondering; the foam softens the muck on the paint better than just hosing; allowing you to pressure wash off most of the stuff that scratches the paint when you manually wash.

The more you can get off without touching the paint; the less fine scratches you put on the car. On a black car it makes a big difference to how often you need to do paint correction.

New front upper control arms with nolathane rubbers (or SuperPro????) for my NM35 today at Wholesale Suspension, Penrith, NSW.

This was on top of replacing the lower ones abt 6 weeks ago (by Jetwreck). The knock in the suspension had gone away but came back

again after a while, particularly when under heavy braking.

Picked the car up from Pedders, rear is dumped, but only just level with the front. Weird... but can't go any lower on the rear. Haven't measured yet though.

Got my new blow off valve in the mail today, Turbosmart Nissan specific dual port. Nicely made unit. Fit it this afternoon, not too hard, just had a higher pick up for the hose. Set it up as plumb back, and set it as stiff as it went.

Gives a fair bit of flutter, but other than that is all good. Will back off the stiffness in the morning and see if that lessens the flutter. Main thing is it fixes the 'farting', guess I'll find out over the weekend, with a drive to McLaren Vale and back.

Picked up my car from All Type today. Largely happy with the job, would have liked them to touch up the car more, but I think I always knew that the job wouldn't be up to my standards..

Grille is painted and fitted. Wing will go on tomorrow when I get some adhesive rubber stuff for it.

anyone seens pics of a stag with big wheel flares?

Like this?:whistling:

Ghetto; but pretty cool...

yep, that is indeed a good start. too small but at least it gives an idea of how they would look.

actually that looks like a well built car at a glance

Lol, I was only really referring to the exterior; rivetted on flares over the existing rear doors, etc.

Everything under the skin is beautifully fabricated. Definitely has attitude.

ahh yeah, some practicality lost, but otherwise it's pretty good. I like a home built race car, they can have heaps of good ideas. Like the rear door on that one for instance

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
