Nice skids pictures Mat

I would have loved to see

All grip run and smash the track out

But skids are more then welcome

Yeah i know, i want to get it out on track soon mate!

Not much to update at the moment as the poor car is getting neglected due to being busy! It currently is covered in rubber and has a flat left from tyre due to a screw... Will hopefully sort that this weekend.

Carmen and I purchased a Tow Rig to make taking the skyline places easier, so far is has not done towing duties as it needs some maintenance but it certainly looks the part and will look good with the 34 on the back -

Up Tea Gardens somewhere :)

I see the black stealth theme has taken over the 4wd too.. :whistling:

Looks good, whats the mods on the 4wd? lift kit? what motor?

Lol yep, The theme continues

It is the 4.2 Turbo Diesel 1HD-T which is meant to be one of the tougher of the models.

The mods are quite extensive (Would you expect anything else?) but a bit hard to list as i am too lazy to go look at it :P

35 inch cooper tyres, lift kit, custom diff breathers, straight through 3" exhaust with Pyrometer fitted, Warn winch, custom air compressor setup on board, half the ARB catalogue including bull bar,tow bar, roof cage with high lift jack and shovel etc etc... CB, spotties, electronic brakes, snorkal, upgraded injector pump to handle the increase in boost, heavy duty radiator, proper duel battery setup with power outlet in the rear, super dark window tint...

Future repairs (this weekend i hope) - New wheel bearings both sides, new CV joint drivers side and if i get time ill replace the aerial.

Future mods - Probably not many really, we do want to build drawers in the back and have a Waeco 50L fridge setup for long trips

i want to try your new turbo in my twin scroll turbine housing!

Would be a crazy combo mate!! Mine is making 20psi at 3700rpm on a basic single scroll setup with 3" exhaust... Crazy to think what a proper TS setup will do...

The feeling of this vs the old turbo is not even remotely similar, the low down power and feel is so so good...

yeah your results are sick

Lithium; its a 3076 with .82 twin scroll

I agree, this would make for an interesting result, perhaps even with the 3582 hta? I found your graph again the other day Owen, I still can't believe the response.

    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
