Hey, I want to order a set of TE37's for my R33 GTR but I'm not 100% on which size to get.

I'm looking at either 19x10.5 +12 or +22. My car isn't very low and doesn't have much camber. I don't want to roll my guards either. I would be happy to dial a bit of negative camber in to get the +12's under there though.

Just want to know from peoples experiences if the +12 offset can be done without rolling the guards.

Thanks,

Mike.

I scrub my drivers inner platic lining with a 19 x 9.5 + 12 running on a 275/30x19 tyre.

What's everyones obsession with 10.5 inch wide rims? a 275 looks a little stretched on there and really looks a bit limp wristed!

Thanks heaps for the replies, definately happy I went with the +12's.

Just need to work out what tyres I'm going to run now.

Thanks,

Mike.

who did you end up ordering them through? looking at getting a set of te37 too...

I ended up getting a set of varrstoen copies. Couldn't justify spending 5k or wheels if I don't even track my car.

Cost me $1600 delivered

Thanks,

Mike

So far, they are probably the best for copied TE37's.

Still 19x10.5 +12?

What colour you get?

If you track it, this is probably your best option anyway.

Try buckling or cracking one of those TE37s, it hurts.

Waiting to see fitment pictures of these on the 33.

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
