Yes customized and built from scratch pretty much after finally finding a local towbar supply and install place that was willing to do something "different". Very happy with it for sure 👌 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/377489-the-evolution-of-night-fury/page/34/#findComment-8002157 Share on other sites

Do you mind if I ask how much this cost to get setup? Currently I put a rear rack on my bike, load up a duffle bag and ride to the track. The ride home can get a bit sketchy with how exhausted I am, if this isn't crazy expensive it would be a much better option for sure. 2 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/377489-the-evolution-of-night-fury/page/34/#findComment-8002436 Share on other sites

It cost me $2900 all up for a local trailer / towbar place to supply and install. I did think it was a bit steep initially but after all the work involved and seeing the final result I think its well justified. Hardest part was finding someone willing to customize and fit it up with trial and error basically. Whereabouts are you located? - I had my work done locally in Wangara. It sounds "expensive" when compared to a mass produced tow bar that gets imported from China, but if that's all custom fabrication, then I think where you've ended up, it's a pretty good price! Considering some people will pay thousands of dollars for a few intercooler pipes to be welded up! 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/377489-the-evolution-of-night-fury/page/34/#findComment-8002511 Share on other sites

Price seems pretty good to me. Also seems a hell of a lot cheaper then buying another vehicle that only ever gets used for towing. I'm a long way from you mate, I'm a couple of hours out of Brizzy. 2 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/377489-the-evolution-of-night-fury/page/34/#findComment-8002522 Share on other sites
jez NF
Have been polishing up the trailer rims as they had been sitting in the shed for a few years and are really in need of some love. This was after a couple of passes with chrome polish - coming up quite well ✅ . 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/377489-the-evolution-of-night-fury/page/34/#findComment-8002578 Share on other sites
jez NF
Mixing things up - installed some leather recaros to match the leather seat covered rear seats. Interior looks pretty schmick now except for some slight wear on the steering wheel which I will monitor and address if it becomes worse or actually noticeable! 2 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/377489-the-evolution-of-night-fury/page/34/#findComment-8002976 Share on other sites

I'm guessing its a 4 point harness, 3 of the 4 belts are visible. I'm guessing the hidden belt is tucked down between the seat and door. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/377489-the-evolution-of-night-fury/page/34/#findComment-8002979 Share on other sites

Lower parts are there. On passenger seat, bright yellow bit is the release mount. On drivers, bright yellow bit is the lower buckle for the other side. My bet is lowers are tucked out of the way as much as possible for visuals. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/377489-the-evolution-of-night-fury/page/34/#findComment-8002980 Share on other sites
jez NF
Yep four point harness. Mounted to a bolted in brace running behind the seats. Dont use it for daily driving tbh but good to have for when its needed plus it looks cool.
