damn i need new camber arms, running stock camber arms with natural camber is so shit, like -3.5deg camber

i think i'll just replace the worn out rose joints on my adjustable arms and put them back in instead of buying new adjustable ones

The latter, if I had a roller I'd do em myself.

Just make sure you don't get too aggressive. Too often on cruises you see guys who'd have the "backyard roll" done and the paint is stressed, there is unevenness in the guard... Nasty stuff all for the sake of saving a couple bucks and spending a bit more time on it.

was not me.. I just found out tonight caus I was busy all day/night and hadn't read my msgs

If members (that is you guys), can't play nice, be civilized and present the club in a positive light that is what happens.

Committee are discussing the issues and I would hope for a consensus by the time of the November Gen Meeting.

For those experts out there, just curious if the spark plugs I took out this weekend looked ok and are supposed to be this dark in colour?

Normally a mechanic takes them out and I don't get to see them but this time me and my mate who is also a mechanic took them out this weekend.

Cheers Bud!

Yup got real lazy in changing them. These have been in for about 17,000 Km's..... I know :spank:

I'll change them every 2nd oil change from here on in. Just need to be shown how to do it, which seemed easy enough.

I'll do it when I get my next set of wheels. Want some dish and painted centres

you can buy the SP1's off me when I get the rears, dont know why, but Im not a fan.

yeh.. easy enough for me too lol.. coilpack cover.. 6 screws..

and they're there lol

Sparks look fine Tony...normal build up considering how long they've been in for.

Easier on your SR20...you don't have to remove half of the intake piping and if I recall correctly your coilpacks don't have individual screws :/

spark plugs take me about 45 minutes to change being meticulous (cleaning threads of the head etc.).

yeh thats what I said.

nah the coil packs have individual screws.. i snapped one of the studs in there which you just reminded me to fix lol but yeh it only takes me 15 minutes to change all the plugs i just do it every service.. probably overkill but its $12.00 and 15 minutes extra.. rather than keeping track of when they went in

Cheers guys!

Yeah when my friend was taking out all the shit to get to the sparkies he kept on saying luckily I have this tool, otherwise if you did this yourself at home it would be a bitch for you to get 'x' screw out.

I get jelly when I hear my friend changes his spark plugs in his s15 in 5 mins.

    • I've replaced the front brakes of my NA to 324 brembos and 350z calipers: i'm going for 225/40-18 up front and 245/35-18 in the back. I have Rays 7.5*19 ET35(225/35) in the front with 5mm spacers otherwise the calipers "lock up/ won't rotate". When i use the calculator i come up with 8*18 ET30 for 225/40...... but not sure i get problems with the calipers. Anyone riding around with 18 inch. that can confirm "that it'll fit"? In the back it's 7.5*9 ET30 (245/30) with the 5mm spacers, but there is no problem with the standard small brakes, so i want to take 8.5*18 ET25 (245/35).
    • Lol.. but then.. always come back to a JDM..
    • Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.
    • The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.
    • Welcome.  Here's what I have noticed about forum vs FB..... FB; seems to be wallet racing, and the same few questions asked over and over. There *may* be some groups that are closer knit, but most have changed for the worse. SAU; unfortunately, no longer in its glory days. But....genuine people with similar interests. Not all about how much you spent and saying you dont have enough power. Sooooooo much knowledge available. Have personally seen people post up about literally topics I made myself, asking on FB like no one has done it before. Most has been done, and most of that is here.   If you ever feel like just general chatting theres the wasteland.  Other interests are also generally covered in other areas of the forum. Hope you enjoy hanging around. We would love to have you.   P.s. nice 32 😀
