the ford only comes in the colour scheme and the stripe packe is one they took off the new mustang then put on a much longer car and put a rspec sticker on it..

worst effort ever.

and they wonder why less ppl buy them.

seems I was slightly wrong..but still combo's not looking too great:

The RSPEC is available in four colour combinations, half of them to be built in the ‘hero’ colour scheme of Silhouette (black) with Vixen (red) accents. The remaining 175 units will be made up of Winter White, red and Kinetic (blue) with black accents.

the ute I was looking at only comes in that colour:

and still ugly..and guessing still leaf suspension.

Today marks the 6 year anniversary of owning my r32!

2006 was a time when r32's cost $12-15k, r33's $20k & r34's being close to $30k

A time where SAU was probably at its peak and safe from Birds' rants. Wasteland was hitting 100pages/second and was impossible to keep up.

My r32 arrived fresh off the boat, 115,000km and stock. With unlimited potential funded by casual employment.

I'd like to thank all the cops for the many defects and EPA's, the credit card company for charging me a lot of interest and the harassment from commodores and stereotyping from the media/public.

Special shout out to the old school sau people who are no longer with us but have helped along the way. Justin, Nick, Paul, Rylan, Abu, Sam and many more.

Also Dezz...keep it real brother. Say hello to Jar for me :D

Dezz referring to my shout out. There were many more but forgot their names :(

Yup i'll be there

Come to the pre-meet if your from the east. Or come 1/2 way through like last time :P

How's the engine build coming along brah?

Will head in with Tony.

Yeah, engine has been out and I got the rolling shell at the moment.

Should be done by the end of the month / early September.

You are Toby not Tony.

What time is the pre-meet?

I forgot some of you don't even go outside the wastelanders section

So anyone coming from the eastside tomorrow that will be a bit late?

If there is a few people then:

We will head down the Eastern Fwy to Garage Cafe

    • Sorry I haven't been following all the detail, so you may have tried this. Does it idle with the tiniest bit of throttle you can add? You've mentioned the IACV, does it have an AAC valve and have you adjusted it at all (ie, screw the idle adjust screw all the way in, then back it out a couple of turns until idle is stable)?
    • My bad, I unplugged the one underlined in red instead of yellow before. With the car started, after unplugging the IACV (the one underlined in yellow), it idled at around 400/500 for 3 seconds before stalling. Attempting to start the car without the IACV will not start the car.   It does stutter and sputter for around 5 seconds before dying. However, immediately after starting it, you can already hear some slight sputters from the exhaust.   It won't start with the AFM unplugged. If it is when the car has already started, it stalls in a few seconds.   Yesterday, I did take some logs using Nistune of 3 scenarios. Car idling till it stalls Car idling and unplugging the IACV Car idling and removing the AFM I also have some previous logs of when the Car is idling till it stalls and when driving and it cuts. I am not really knowledgeable enough to understand what to look for. After every test, car idles rougher and rougher, until I have to stop. It will be fine the day after.
    • There is no difference between a 17x8 and an 18x8. The total diameter of the tyre needs to remain +/- the same (so you don't mess up the gearing, speedo reading, and clearance when turning front wheels..... so you just need to use a lower profile tyre on th 18 than you do on the 17. /rocket surgery.
    • I thought the same to start with. But then I thought it was one of those LCAs where the end of the ARB goes through a bushing in the LCA itself, instead of having an end link.
    • Yeah - I mean, go the other way. Smaller range. Not larger.
