nothing, not even advance timing.

the standard charger or something, but AFAIK nothing else.

$1400 got him to 370rwkw.

the flamin mongrel.

Wow, gotta say that is amazing!! Rembering how much I spent on a gtr to get reliable 290ish rwkw and that's easy compared to some imports. This makes you wanna cry lol.

Depends if you want straight line speed or track times...

Either way man, that much power that easily on a street car is just insane considering the mods. I know what you mean, but if a gtr was able to get that much power with such minimal, straight line or track you wouldn't say no.

My point is It's crazy amount of power that easily whatever the purpose is.

i'm fairly sure the tune would have involved advancing the timing...

he also has a shorter pulley on the blower... BIG mods!

yeh they are still abit exy though.

will see what happens. i would only get an 8 if I wanted more than 250kw. which i really dont.

yes you do... fag

lol.. i can make it worse.

apparently the 370kw tune is only a mild tune

And you are comparing a $40-50k car with a $15-20k car.

Which one is going to loose you the least money when you go to sell?!?! Sure the blue oval isn't going to command anything more than $15k in 3 years time.

It's a V8 with 2 times the displacement and a supercharger...it's also 15 years newer than most cars on SAU...

I don't get why everyone is so surprised?

This...

It's an awesome amount of power and a very cheap increase, but it's very conservative from factory. By blown 5 litre standards 370rwkw isn't huge. And comparing them to modifying engines with half the displacement is as retarded as Aaron's timeshare insurance idea.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
