Credit card - then do balance transfer to low interest credit card transfer deal

e.g. http://www.citibank.com.au/aus/credit_cards/cards_platinum.htm

Just don't use the card for anything else. Shop around for other deals though, the citibank card has a $250 a year fee

Still can't believe they offered one once with 3.99 for the life of the transfer

Would a Victorian unregistered vehicle permit be valid in nsw? So I can drive my car from the hotel to the show n shine

Also remember a unreg permit is meant to be only for getting things done to register your car.

So if you get pulled over up the Hume, you will have a lot of explaining to do, and if not sufficient permit goes and you call a tow truck.

Hambo - 2 days this week doing 6hr shifts in a kitchen - knocked the stuffing outta me, but must admit I'm highly enjoying it.

Will get used to it in a few weeks no doubt.

Cant wait to get open!

hahaha so in total you did 1 average day (well only if there was no break) ;)

opening you own place you will probably end up doing 80-100 hrs a week untill it's making cash back. EOTD every 40/w you d is 50k a year that you aren't paying somone else to do it .

we still need to have that drink... you free this week?

Got a 10k limit on my credit card... But think for cash advances the interest rate is stupid high...Don't know coz I've never used cash advance.

Might be an option considering most personal loans charge a fee if u pay it off within the first 12 months...

Hamish & Andy, insider opinion?

Personal loan is the safest option.

atm westpac are offering a 12.9% from memory.

dont go the cash out then balance transfer method, as you will then have 3 x enquires on your veda report within a year and the balance transfer might get knocked back.

what is the story with your homeloan? is there an interest only portion? cos if there is i'd be staying away from excess credit until this is over as the loan will be reviewed at when it reverts to principle and interest.

personal loan is the safest option if a 5k redraw is not available to you.

just remember that every redraw will be visibale to a banker when you wish to restructure the product, and as such you always want to keep this at a minimum.

with a credit card you have to be more vigilant and make sure the payments are made on time, not early, not late and if you pay just the minimums on 5k you will be paying that for approx 15 years, whereas a personal loan will be 5-7

yes they are, on their flexi loan til the end of the year

He already has the CC though, so should be one less? Probably my circumstances, but never had any issues with my report to date.

Yeah, fkers, late fee for paying early :-/

It's not a late fee for paying early, it's because interest is calculated monthly, so if you pay early then your payment will count towards the previous month and technically you haven't paid the current month... Jus made a double pay for the previous month.

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
