Me I hate faggots with fog lights on during the day even all those cheap knts with stuck on led strips to look like drls deserve defects for phaggotry either ya car has em or it doesn't its simple

Sounds like Audi elitism to me :P

^^ exactly my thought pat lol

why though? lol if its "blinding" you then I can understand why, but if people want to look like faggots, then let them. its not your car youre worrying about looking shit, its someone elses..its just confusing me coming from a person that has the "I dont give a f**k what people think" attitude.

and DRL's in general are queer, even standard issue ones. they look like fairy lights for poofters.

You've changed man, you used to be cool.

Ahh really.. That sounds pretty good then!

Just to come up with a decent combination is what stops me

nah not gonna bother with a combination.. would be happy with replacement ones, as I dont think you can mix and match numbers yet

Can anyone actually confirm if this pettet did him for drls or fog lights? I keep reading fog lights in which case he had every right to give him an infringement notice

They were DRLs. But even if they were fog lights, the car was factory, i.e. unmodified...they should be taking it up with Toyota, not the customer buying the car.

Those VX commo's with HID's in their fogs that they turn on during the day. Oh my f*king son of rajab.

i dont understand what the problem is. my head lights are on from when I start the car, all the time, any time during the day.. mine automatically turn one when the car goes on, and turn off when the car goes off.

does that piss you all off too?

Nah not elitism but having said that I'd feel like a flog buying a kia with direct copy style but each to there own, even losers who put em on there commodore its like gtr badges on a gtst don't try be what ya not, or did opinion chance since I sold mine?

The issue isn't fog lights being legal / illegal you can't drive with them on. So if he was doing so its not Toyotas problem it's the Phag driver.

Doesn't blind me at all just think its pointless and every second fkn common whore gets around with them on so fkn book em all for all I care

Why would you want headlights on during the day ?

Imo thats fine. Cause the headlights are cut off properly and aren't shining in peoples eyes.

My peeve hate is just blinding hid's, that kunts use during the day too.

Bit different to alex me thinks.

ive always done it, i have no idea why..

i think its now just a force of habbit to be honest.

and jonoe, mine ARE HID's, does it piss you off yet? and sif you can talk with your fkn reverse light lol

my lights are on during the day if its raining, im in a tunnel, or if the sun is setting behind me. safety thing. but i see no issue with people driving with their lights on. dont tell me it distracts you because they aren't strobes. it just makes you notice the car in question. which is a good thing.

re foglights; unless the owner has them adjusted wrongly, fogs are supposed to spread light low and wide. so they wont be blinding anyone at night. i never understood the issue people have with them

^^ my point explained better.

drive infront of a 300c (the old model) and tell me that

My thoughts exactly. Worst when you see them on EF falcons, VNs, CE lancers etc etc. YOU'RE CAR ISN'T EUROPEAN DICKHEAD.

Even on euros I hate them.

    • My thinking is that if the O2 sensor is shot then your entire above described experience is pure placebo.
    • Here is the mess that I made. That filler there was successful in filling dents in that area. But in the middle area. I can feel dents. And I've gone ocer it multiple times with filler. And the filler is no longer there because i accidently sanded it away. I've chased my tail on this job but this is something else lol. So I'm gonna attempt filler one more time and if it doesn't work I'll just high fill primer the door and see where the issues are because guidecoat is of no use atm.
    • Ok, so I think I sort of figured out where I went wrong. So I definitely overthinked it, and I over sanded, which is probably a large part of the problem. to fix it, I ended up tapping some spots that were likely to be high, made them low, filled them in, and I tackled small sections at a time, and it feels a lot better.    I think what confused me as well is you have the bare metal, and some spots darker and some are lighter, and when I run my finger across it, it' would feel like it's a low spot, but I think it's just a transition in different texture from metal to body filler.    When your finger's sliding on the body filler, and crosses over to the bare metal, going back and forth, it feels like it's a low spot. So I kept putting filler there and sanding, but I think it was just a transition in texture, nothing to do with the low or high spot. But the panel's feels a lot better, and I'm just going to end up priming it, and then I'll block it after with guide coat.   Ended up wasting just about all of my filler on this damn door lol
    • -10 is plenty for running to an oil cooler. When you look at oil feeds, like power steering feeds, they're much smaller, and then just a larger hose size to move volume in less pressure. No need for -12. Even on the race cars, like Duncans, and endurance cars, most of them are all running -10 and everything works perfectly fine, temps are under control, and there's no restrictions.
    • Update: O2 sensor in my downpipe turned out to be faulty when I plugged in to the Haltech software. Was getting a "open circuit" warning. Tons of carbon buildup on it, probably from when I was running rich for a while before getting it corrected. Replaced with new unit and test drove again. The shuffle still happens, albeit far less now. I am not able to replicate it as reliably and it no longer happens at the same RPM levels as before. The only time I was able to hear it was in 5th going uphill and another time in 5th where there was no noticeable incline but applying more throttle first sped it up and then cleared it. Then once in 4th when I slightly lifted the throttle going over a bump but cleared right after. My understanding is that with the O2 sensor out, the ECU relies entirely on the MAP tune and isn't able to make its small adjustments based on the sensors reading. All in all, a big improvement, though not the silver bullet. Will try validating the actuators are set up correctly, and potentially setting up shop time to tune the boost controller on closed loop rather than the open loop it is set to now. Think if it's set up on closed loop to take the O2 reading, that should deal with these last bits. Will try to update again as I go.
