Go pro controller... Good luck getting that through scrutineering at a track, lol ;)

What drugs are you on? It's securely mounted to the dash lol it will pass

And it's an app, it wirelessly connects to it

That would be the only annoying part imo, having to re-pair it each time

Not really, it usually automatically connects when I come into close range, if it doesn't have a proper landline wireless connection. I was thinking the same and was about to buy the sim one and just link it to my mobile. But yeh.. Worked out in the end

Lap timing

Internet if I really needed it

And something different

I just emailed carbon34 about the custom dash which he's making for me. Should sit flush!

Yeah I don't know. Still not feeling it. I have a pioneer double din touch screen which fits well and integrates with iPod/iPhone great. Not to mention Bluetooth hands free etc.

Also how does one overcome 3x RCA instead of splitting one audio output into 3? /audiophile

It's not for everyone, but I like it and it works for me.

What do u mean 3x RCA? As in the 3 components of video left / right or, 3 separate RCA composite cables?

It's sends RCA from a 30pin splitter, and I've just split them into f/r left and f/r right.. It's exactly the same way a head unit splits into multiple RCA pre out, just all compacted into the head unit..

If I need a sub which I won't, ill just split again into another amp with adjustable pre amp to control the sub independently.

It's reAlly not a difficult setup. And there's a few eq apps to get it sounding good, until I decide to upgrade the amp and stock speakers lol

Speaking of corrupt Asian countries, went to a night club in Kuala Lumpur. Came outside to see carpark full of lambos, ferraris, Amg's (and a r34 :P)

Dem kids with their corrupt family monies!

It's probably SAU member DarkChild and his crew LOL!

FAIL..

Velcro doesn't pass scruteneering. need to think up a different system... (or remove it and then put it back afterwards of course)

Thanks Simon and Martin regarding the petrol info.

Hey Aaron, i just started playing around with the GoPro ap last night. It's not bad, if only it could allow you to preview the videos and photos..... but yeah, won't bother buying the lcd now since you can preview what you're about to record on the ap.

    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
    • Thanks for the replies everyone. Definitely a coolant push. Oil catch can is empty and always has been. As the engine is out now I'll be having a good look over things. I do have some detonation on the piston tops from a trigger issue back about 5 years ago. I felt it and shut off then bought a new ecu and changed the trigger. Never been an issue since. It never hurt the power, its made almost 80hp more since that incident but I will pull the bearing caps to take a look. If the bearings are damaged I will do a bottom end refresh. Head is being re conditioned at the moment and the block will be cleaned and checked to ensure it's flat. I'll go with a kameari gasket and see how it ends up. The other thing I'm not super keen on is the cylinder colours. I suspect this is from the inlet manifold. The plan will be to put it back together, retune and then stick a plazmaman billet inlet on it and retune. I'm happy with the power, if it makes a little more, then great, but I would rather just make everything more efficient at this stage.
    • Maybe they'll look to do a bunch of presales to help inject some cash fast for their financial issues...
