Old wives tale mate...just make sure you've eaten enough on the day.

The only thing I find helps with hangovers/hurling the next day or lasting through the night is to have a glass/gulp of water in between every drink or at every piss stop. Helps with the dehydration which is what makes hangovers so bad if I recall correctly.

I've heard hydralyte or whatever it's called is also good to drink just before you sleep/pass out also

G&T in the heat is great... Just remember to use Bombay, not tanq, tanq 10, millers or Hendricks. They are wasted in G&T and Bombay covers up more of the tonic flavour
