Probably a bit unfair majority of wealthy / celebrities donate a lot of time and money compared to the average person but their status / wealth is held against them as not doing enough.

Obviously some so nothing but these days most do quite a bit I mean I donate to certain causes but that's about the level of my contribution - also know as doing sweet Fark all who could honestly say they do that much?

I folded and bought GTA V on my way home today...

It's installing now, while I'm watching Under the Dome and sipping on a slab of Asahi that Laith bought for me last summer when I helped change his radiator...

s Asahi a manly enough drink? Or should I inject something into my body directly? Reverse Spinal Tap it perhaps...

Plenty of anonymous philanthropic millionaires/billionaires who donate heaps to causes and that's great...it just shits me when it takes someone to get that disease before they decide that that one is the disease worthy of more money for researching a cure. Celebrities do it all the time, starting foundations and poster childing for them...why not do something like this before something affects you. Otherwise I have to simply hope that more celebrities get more diseases? Which isn't a terribly nice mindset. Like I said, it's great that charities are finally getting money...just annoys me that someone important or wealthy had to suffer before attention was given to it.

I've personally seen nothing of breast cancer but donated plenty to that cause, plus some others that don't really affect me personally. It's just human nature that we're often not aware of something until we are personally affected - it's just sad, that's all.

Also lots of wealthy people donate money, but very few would donate proportionate to the average person (e.g. percentage of income), yet base cost of living technically would allow them to donate a higher percentage of what they earn than the average person and still live comfortable. People like Mark Zuckerberg are few and far between!

Asahi is good beer... but it's the in Japan stuff that you want!

this... and now we get it from the UK, Canada or Aust at different times but NEVER Japan unless you go to a specialty place

Brahs, need to do my 100,000k major service; timing belt, spark plugs, etc. possibly even coilpacks too. Any places you guys can recommend to me? I got quoted $1300 at Chasers today.

abhi, go to GT Hyper and get a quote.

i did mine there for a price i wont mention but lets just say it was less.

go for an RB30 waterpump and a gates racing timing belt. use genuine nissan parts for the rest. this will be the cheapest and best performing option

kudos do a kit, if you want everything, which i think was relatively well priced when i did mine (although i didn't get it from them in the end). i did oem waterpump as well as timing belt also fwiw.

coilpacks, if going oem, hit up amamiya... like literally half the price, but just gotta wait for shipping. i couldn't wait when mine were on the way out sadly... (was before i did my major anyway) but sounds like yours are still in good order in the mean time!

edit: also if as if mr chef says you go gt hyper, it's pretty local since it's in springy (and i think you said you're in rowville)

Haha yeah, ordering it whilst in Japan last year was the best :')

Had to play catchup for like 10 pages.

Alot of alcohol was mentioned, some good, most bad.

Bacardi 151 you say pat? Try spirytus... Makes 151 look like alcohol free wine

but this post won, 95% alcohol, and you can pretend its vodka and put it in a 375ml smirnoff flask, and have everyone do "vodka" shots.

OH YES, vodka shots.

Granted. Probably Australia is lagging behind if you look at the USA nearly all celebs, sports stars even of average (by there comrades) standards have charities/foundations I spose not enough rich people here.

A lot of people are following the gates foundation but I guess the really good people do these things without fuss.

Thanks brahs, appreciate it! Yeah i'm in rowville so I'll give GT Hyper a buzz tomorrow morning. As much as i'd like to do a kit I don't have the time and also my car's sitting on 114***k's, bought it at 110 but didn't go by the guy I bought it off saying he did a service on it at 105 as I checked and had to top oil and coolant. Cheers again guys!

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
