My mate had dinner at sukiyabashi jiro last night.

Words can not express my jealousy right now.

If you don't know... Google is your friend.

Google says 3.6/5 based on 64 reviews.

Meanwhile, Grill'd averages 4/5...I think I know where to send my business. Thanks Hamish

If it was a factory option only then get your mate to Go to Knox and demand it to be repealed. If not go to formal complaint and add another to his file

These have a mysterious habit of disappearing, else the file gets purged on a daily basis.

Maybe the commissioner was looking in the regular filing cabinet that houses formal complaints for all members of VicPol, when he said no complaints had ever been made about him. Maybe he should have been looking in the 2-3 filing cabinets dedicated to the cock sucker.

3 Michelin stars... Your argument is invalid

"To the best of his knowledge" - he never asked

Someone needs to enlighten me on some of the pricing of foods in these Japaneses restaurants

I'm sure Hamish/Alvin knows

Particularity the pricing of sushi & sashimi

Don't get me wrong I love japanese food but where some restaurants you pay $15-$20 for a few pieces of sashimi. Im like rightio

It's a raw fish so not much prep if any is required?

So which then leads to how much cost variance is there in the quality of fish?

Because I can't taste much difference...! Between sashimi in an average restaurant and a high end one. The plate just looks prettier with a few fancy things on the side.

Consider yourself enlightened!

Fish quality is paramount to good sashimi.

Sashimi grade fish is double the price at minimum and has different fats and sinews etc.

Colour is also better.

Then you use better parts of the fish Which then adds further to the cost.

Rice quality

Freshness means more wastage

Skills of staff means more pay

Venue itself costs more

Vinegars etc are higher quality and cost a lot more

Presentation

Cutlery/crockery

Service

More staff

Etc

Where does one acquire sashimi grade fish?

I normally just get mine from Springvale market

I've never really seen raw fish advertised as sashimi grade

Now renting a factory 2 avenues from RacePace...I feel like I should be buying a GTR to take advantage of this. Some awesome other places nearby too; industrial areas ftw

3 is nothing... I've got Attica in November and we booked in May!

Some places are even longer

Brother's gf interviewed the owner of Attica and he gave them a booking, only like two months wait which is super lucky as average is 6 :S

LOL!!

Why you need factory birdman?

Lack of or lax noise rules are also a win.

My family has a lot of cars and projects and stuff.

As soon as the hoist is in I will be there every weekend; I miss my hoist so much.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
