I've had a bike do that to me before; slammed his brakes on in front of me and looked pissed off when my car hit his rear wheel...what the fk did he expect to happen!

There was one on jalopnik recently too, on a freeway - needless to say the bike didn't fare well

I still think there's a lot more to the story. If that was the case and the above happened, instead of beating the shit out of him, wouldn't they put him under citizens arrest(or some other stupid American law) until the police arrived? It's like pot calling the kettle black. And in the initial run over, it pretty much does look like they surrounded the SUV. What else would you do with your kid in the car.. I'm surprised no one pulled out a gun.

exactly. they have it on video.

like i said, pot calling the kettle black. theres too many holes in it to be one sided for the bike group, where it makes a lot more sense for the SUV driver to be put in a compromised situation judging by the amount surrounding.

They weren't, but it was no misses, no hiccups, pull after pull after pull, hours of it... IC was cold, AT Cooler was...room temp.

240kw @ 4000... and 310 at 4800...and 5k,6k,7k, 298 at 7500 etc. Did lose some boost, 26psi in middle, tapered to 21-20... prev run was 24? at redline.

Did a 98 run, 26psi (down to 21-22) and made 250kw lol. Same graph shape, though. 16+ deg of timing and no pinging.. 22 or so on E85.

Nothing of note changed (well transmission build occurred/new trans but went from a built NA to built turbo one).

Fingers pointed at IWG blowing open or manifold, or turbo being choked, though no reason as to why it should be any different than before as nothing changed...

Should prob clarify

First trip time, 20psi, E85, made 310

2nd trip/retune, 24 psi, E60, made 340, ran out of duty.

3rd trip/retune, "26"psi (down to 21?, E85, made 310.

Prob seems due to boost, but nothing changed :P

i know my emo makes a big difference to power if you can keep extra boost in it to the limiter.

is shingeki really that good? its all despair and gore isn't it?

oh yeah newish roast duck joint @ box hill called roast duck inn is pretty good too, up there with rock kung or might even be better, though i dont think they do peking duck.

Well I was technically referring to my Ops Manager but i didn't really make that clear :P

    • Working through possible solutions of converting my mechanical speedo.    Anyone know what type of speedo sensor the factory r34 gtr getrag has ? what the output is ? I assume its not a VSS and more a voltage like earlier speedo sensors ? Can an ECU read it ?

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
