The ralliarts are ok, it's just standard lancer with a nicer gearbox/engine and evo 9 awd

Brakes are very much street spec, don't expect them to handle much spirited stopping before fading, suspension/back end feels a little nervous in higher speed corners. Disregard what the gearbox service intervals are in the manual , 40k km or less if driven hard and then change the filter and oil.

Mum just bought a 2012 Honda Vibe-S. Such a cute little car and I never thought i'd say it but it has such a nifty, useful interior: loads of room for such a tiny car. VTEC will kick in on the way to Coles for sure.

In other news, PowerFC tune booked in for next Monday @ Chequered, can't wait!

Curious when you sent the original booking message and how long they took to reply

Im also trying to book my car in lol, considering going elsewhere if it takes too long

Cat took a while to reply to my first few messages, but they have just gotten back from Xmas break and apparently had like 200~ enquiries over that period lol.

Try calling instead of messaging!

Yeah I know they just got back from their break

She normally replies in the order she receives the messages

So was just curious when you sent your message so I have an idea where I sit in the queue :)

Sent 1st message last Wednesday, didn't hear back for 2 days, got impatient and called.

Jumped the queue? Maybe.

10's start at double what a standard 7 is worth.

pretty sure this is what he meant by trading up ;)

They are a good option if you were going to buy/lease one new and novate or salary package.

As a second hand car and something bang for buck, 10 doesn't come close to 7-8. 8 with the 6spd is currently best bang for buck imo. 6 months ago it was the 7, but the 8's have come down.

Just have a look at prices of 9's they are stupidly expensive.

and this is exactly why I have a 7

build my simulator you ass

you want a simulator of scott's ass...

even for you that's gay

anyone been in a current ralliart?

what's the interior quality like? I know it came out 4-5 years ago, has it had any updates?

Madden's brother has one in Brissy.

It's an ok car, but requires a tune big time. There is no power what so ever under 4K, they have neutered the poor thing.

Also fuel consumption is not a strong point (13L/100 is their average).

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
