whole forum was down for aaaages.

and Birds, not a SSS. is manual though. and sedans are really light weight. Interior is pretty terrible though. from all the cars ive sat in at wreckers, not very pleasant at all. Its a good price, LX has spoiler and airbag. needs alloys and rear disc brakes though.

Anybody recognise this one and does winning awards make the NA worth this much? I don't think it does.-

I know this car, dude works at Jaycar in Bendigo. Asked me about my wheels ages back.

Tbh it's not worth anywhere near that. It is a tidy car but it looks like he's just added the original purchase price of the car and everything else and trying to flog it for what it owes him. Awards don't mean anything to the value of the car either, unless you're talking Concourse d'Elegance or something.

customer : do you have wifi?

me : no

customer : why not? my ipad won't work without wifi

me : how does that concern me?

stupid kids. if we had wifi, tightarse 7$/head spenders like them would flood the place and the restaurant would close down.

fancy that, four kids, all under 16 it seems, comes in orders two soft shell crab rolls, at 15$ each, orders nothing else, drinks only water, sits for 3 hours, and asks us for wifi? f**k off. oh and paying like 20% of the bill with 5 cent coins. srsly?

epic troll effort if they were not just broke ass kids trying to dine out.

Should be going to Macca's for better value for money if broke

lol @ $16500.... Even if it was a gt-t

That's like my biggest pet peeve in the automotive world; people thinking their shit is worth infinitely more than it is. The sheer arrogance!

*cough* 34R's *cough*

Nice

Getting it coated or leave as is?

Your manifold would be easy to go on

ETA?

Have you done a full tune on your existing setup yet?

dropped it off for coating this arvo. hopefully ready by thursday.

Car is getting dropped off for intercooler piping on wedneday. damn public holiday drags everything out

Didnt get full tune on current setup. Ace was busy and im low on funds at the moment. also got someone waiting on my current turbo, so dont want to hold him up.

im not much into muscle cars, but this awesome (tim allen, jerry seinfield, jay leno: too much money)

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
