Goodlife wantirna? how come the change brah?

Half the distance from home so I save $20 a week in petrol, for much the same membership cost. They have a half court for practicing hoops and a cafe...all kinds of win. Basketball team trains there and my mates from Genesis were moving there. They have a decent casual rate too instead of the ridiculous $20/visit Genesis charged me for Leesh to get a work out in.

Only issue is a lack of small weight plates...might have to petition for that cause when it gets busy you can only find 20kg plates. Dat forced heavy increase.

yeah they installed new cameras there not long ago. such a dumb main road strip. 3 lanes to 1, then 50 through the centre.

I got done at end of Frankston/Dandy road. cars all around me, everyone doing 70-80 in a 60 zone. saw the camera flash at least 3-4 times. need to remember to tell boss about it before he gets a letter in the mail

I didnt notice any signs, next time I drove through there is 3 f**k-off big 60 signs before it....

Haha reminds me of the fine I got on Toorak Rd, back when it used to be a 60 zone going past Grange Rd. I was doing 55 and got flashed, did a U turn to see what it was; camera sitting in front of the tiniest fkin 40km/h sign on a post HIDDEN behind a tree. Absolute joke. We had to look for a minute to find that sign, no shit.

The next week, there's two big LED signs on the road saying 40! Seems the first call of business when changing a speed zone is to put cameras there to catch people off guard...because it's so dire that we enforce it straight away, despite the zone having been 60 for years. Ffs.

I was gonna argue it based on shit sign, but had to suck it up cause didn't have any room for more points if I lost. And so someone else was driving that night...

Brace yourself Birds, gone are the tax offsets that you may have used

Oh and Pat you might have to bay 2% debt tax. Dat high income earner #fifolife

And Platts the Mature age worker offset is abolished :(

What about me tobes? Can I expect to be raped this year?

....thats not even karma thats just the huge flaw in the whole camera system...

Yeah because the speed camera system is in place to save lives..............................

fair enough, I'm LOVING spartans heaps of awesome equipment and machines / infinite weights only issue for me is it takes about 15-20 to get there from my place - would be even worst from yours :\ the longer trip sort of makes me stay longer though which is a good thing.

they're looking at going 24 hour too which would be sick.

speaking of weights, scrolled down facebook the other day only to see the dezzmang playing local footy with the pythons out - getting swole brah.

anyone else think that Google will become skynet?

get Nexus phone and a google+ account is compulsory, plus auto searching through your contact list and adding them to your "circles", among their other bullshit accounts and avatar dragging...

Add up your fuel costs and you'll see advantage to going for location!

If I need 24 hour I just go to Xplode. Would go there permanently if I lived in Dandy, as it's 289 a year lol

Good Life is open til 10 and 7 on weekends, so that suits me well.

So much budget butt hurt tis ridiculous do people think all the money labor spent was free?

amazing nobody was up in arms when they got their free $900 bucks for nothin

Oh yeah

I loled at some of the comment reply's on a certain hipsters FB post this morning

eh power lifting not for me

spartans 365 a year too which is pretty awesome compared to the 695 bs genesis wanted on renewal I believe.

Not all they do, definitely their focus though.

It most deff wasn't strict anyone earning under &90k (I think) got it I don't know exactly all I know was I didn't get jack squat lol

People are dumb blamin liberal would they rather keep spending like labor and in 10 years would be NO assistance for anyone as the gov would be flat broke.

    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
    • OK, so again it has been a bit of a break but it was around researching what had been done since I didn't have access to Neil's records and not everything is obvious without pulling stuff apart. Happily the guy who assembled the engine had kept reasonable records, so we now know the final spec is: Bottom end: Standard block and crank Ross 86.5mm forgies, 9:1 compression Spool forged rods Standard main bolts Oil pump Spool billet gears in standard housing Aeroflow extended and baffled sump Head Freshly rebuilt standard head with new 80lb valve springs Mild porting/port match Head oil feed restrictor VCT disabled Tighe 805C reground cams (255 duration, 8.93 lift)  Adjustable cam gears on inlet/exhaust Standard head bolts, gasket not confirmed but assumed MLS External 555cc Nismo injectors Z32 AFM Bosch 023 Intank fuel pump Garret 2871 (factory housings and manifold) Hypertune FFP plenum with standard throttle   Time to book in a trip to Unigroup
    • I forgot about my shiny new plates!
    • Well, apparently they do fit, however this wont be a problem if not because the car will be stationary while i do the suspension work. I was just going to use the 16's to roll the old girl around if I needed to. I just need to get the E90 back on the road first. Yes! I'm a believer! 🙌 So, I contacted them because the site kinda sucks and I was really confused about what I'd need. They put together a package for me and because I was spraying all the seat surfaces and not doing spot fixes I decided not to send them a headrest to colour match, I just used their colour on file (and it was spot on).  I got some heavy duty cleaner, 1L of colour, a small bottle of dye hardener and a small bottle of the dye top coat. I also got a spray gun as I needed a larger nozzle than the gun I had and it was only $40 extra. From memory the total was ~$450 ish. Its not cheap but the result is awesome. They did add repair bits and pieces to the quote originally and the cost came down significantly when I said I didn't need any repair products. I did it over a weekend. The only issues I had were my own; I forgot to mix the hardener into the dye two coats but I had enough dye for 2 more coats with the hardener. I also just used up all the dye because why not and i rushed the last coat which gave me some runs. Thankfully the runs are under the headrests. The gun pattern wasn't great, very round and would have been better if it was a line. It made it a little tricky to get consistent coverage and I think having done the extra coats probably helped conceal any coverage issues. I contacted them again a few months later so I could get our X5 done (who the f**k thought white leather was a good idea for a family car?!) and they said they had some training to do in Sydney and I could get a reduced rate on the leather fix in the X5 if I let them demo their product on our car. So I agreed. When I took Bec in the E39 to pick it up, I showed them the job I'd done in my car and they were all (students included) really impressed. Note that they said the runs I created could be fixed easily at the time with a brush or an air compressor gun. So, now with the two cars done I can absolutely recommend Colourlock.  I'll take pics of both interiors and create a new thread.
