and you can tell hwp to smoke your pole if they EPA you....

Might get intercooler, run a smaller pulley and e85 down the track, however then I need injectors and fuel pump as well which is all $ and don't think the change from 370 to 450 odd would be that different.. would get me dat 10 though best someone has got with a tune only is 11.3 down the 1/4 mile with good tyres

Or perhaps it's time I save for a house :(

I'm thinking a shed, I need to be able to store at least 4 cars, preferably more!

I'm limited by my sloping block, designing a 6x9 with extra height to stack cars with a hoist, so should fit 3 with storage

lol... do you NEED a 10?

370 is stupid power! why risk blowing an engine on a 50k car for extra power that you wont be able to use?

don't you hate it when you've lost the rear end (more than once) on your FWD when out on a track, later find out the previous owner hit a gutter a few years ago and knocked one of the rear wheels out.

get it measured up at Tyre Factory when they were doing other work and find one of the wheels to have 6mm toe-in and the other 1mm. then take it to Centreline Suspension (more than reputable from what I've seen/read) and they measure 1mm toe-in on both rear wheels........

grrr

My Pulsar also had near on 0mm toe in on one side and 6mm toe in on the other side - as you know that is within Nissan spec and the only way to get it better is to bend the rear beam. It almost always has nothing to do with accident damage - that's how they came out of the factory.

I agree it makes the car very unstable particularly with quick changes of direction. Could best describe it as crabwalking. Noticed it at turns 11 & 12 at Sandown more than anywhere else.

ETA for BRZ is now April, oh yeah! Nearly time for nervous butterflies.

That's quick! What happened to 12 month wait? Our 18 month wait for 86 has been upgraded to ~6 months too.

So you can be free?

yes.

Polo TDi...I'm impressed. Averaging 3.4L on the freeway. Could get to Sydney on $60.

yeah that would definitely be my car of choice if i were to go down that path, love the golfs are the GTI much worst?

Golf GTI is a great all rounder daily. Great tuning potential too. For the money though, Polo kicks ass. Turbo diesel moves off the line and the 7 speed DSG helps. Would get one if it was a bit better looking, but compared to others in the same market it's probably the best looking.

    • I'm working on the assumption that our friend Jasmine here is a Russian (or, possibly Ukrainian) spammer/spambot, based purely on the number of such that I have been having to neuter in the last few weeks. IP address for the OP above was in WA. But that could have been via VPN. Posting at quarter to 4 in the morning is a good sign of being from somewhere in Europe. The last Jasmine that I kicked in the cooch was IP addressed in Ukraine. Even that could have been via VPN, and the bitchbot could have been from Russia, Serbia, China or anywhere. Regardless, was a spambot, so I killed it with fire. The fact that our new friend Jasmine here did not respond in any way to my tart query strongly suggests to me that this OP was just the establishment phase of a user able to be activated for spamming in a week, or 3 or 10.
    • The stock manifold is "mostly" divided. The divider actually has a notch cut out of it where it would meet the divider on a twin scroll housing. I have no idea why. But whatever the reason, it would cause some cross talk when used with a twin scroll housing. People do put twin scroll housings onto that manifold. But I'm of the opinion that proper twin scroll internal gating is...not really possible at this scale. You'd be throwing good effort (ie $$) after bad, when you really should be doing something else. Notwithstanding that.... I am not sure what the idea that you are floating has to do with the difference in comp cover position caused by the highflow using a shorter length core than the stock Hitachi one. Can you clarify what you meant?
