Hhm, saw a beaut gold 200sx S14 on South Road this morning at Mitsies.... then an Arse Bandit floored up along side me, pulled in front of me in behind the 200sx with no gap there for him (city traffic) and no indication, wanker.

Him and his mate wernt looking at the road, soley the sweet gold nissan, they flashed their lights and pulled over the 200sx, with another arse bandit following me for a while (hahahah mate, its a Volvo!). The 200sx was definately set up for drift, big time. Mate, whoever you are, bad luck. With that highly mod'd 200sx I bet my balls you got reamed big time. Did the arse bandits supply lube and a towel to clean up afterwards?

I believe thats considered hoon driving. If the S14 was just cruising along not going anywhere fast there's no reason why the arse bandit :P had to floor it and change lanes without indicating.

;)

I dont know whos it was, but Im damned sure itd take a huge effort to get off a defect, was visibly highly modified. Loved the camber of the rear wheels !! lol / / \ \

I think I saw a ns.com sticker.......

Its plain wrong - why harrass a driver who hasnt done anything wrong? Looked like a safe car, surely they coulda pulled over the clapped out rusted red 70s mazda323 that was in the vicinity.

Might start keeping tampons in the car, in case of "bleeding"

yeah I know what you mean mate .... I wish they did accident/fatality statistics by age of car and/or roadworthiness (ie. assess a car's pre-accident roadworthiness after an accident) and I bet we'd find a startling proportion of accidents and fatalities involve old rusted out cars with bald tyres, rather than our meticulously maintained sports cars with big brakes, high quality suspension and all the safety features under the sun.

Drew's accident is a good example - Skyline driver - near complete complete recovery in months, Festiva driver - d.o.a. - and that wasn't a particularly old car either.

Don't worry it makes my blood boil too. And I fear if I get pulled over one day when I have clearly done nothing wrong, I will tell the cop what I think of him and why, then get bent over double.

sounds like the gold S14 may be Lawrence's ns.com promo car? I hope not, as if that was defected it would never come off defect.

haha yeah - if it was then that guy has no luck with promo cars

His last one was a write off due to a drunk commodore bomb driver was it not?

no1 has spotted a gunmetal R34 GTR yet?

new number plate (next week) is GTR 034

$170 once off payment personalised plate, lucky no1 has it yet

:P

how did you manage 1 off price

Andrew i went to repco for O2 sensor today dont bother with them as they are dear as

NGK part # OZA395-E2

Bosch part # 2269013007 Repco RRP $125.99

i agree there are far to many bombs on the road trying to drive there cars like there skylines

if they made cars cheaper bad for our resale but good for keeping recent then we all might be a little safer oh dont forget the roads that there not spending money on

That would've been the ns.com promo car, its been spotted around town today with a nice defect sticker on display

I agree. Adelaide roads are shocking! There'd have to be a lot of accident caused by the poor condition of our roads. Drives me nuts, steering around all the potholes etc. trying to find the flattest spot. LOL

Think I spotted Adz2332 yesterday, about 4:45pm turning on to Kings Rd. If so, nice looking line mate.

    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
