It's even worse at the moment as the closer can is not vented atmo over near the turbo too, that will be changed ;)

The back one is not so bad, if it weeps a little it sits up on that little lip.

Ideally I need a redesigned can up behind the shock tower incorporating all fittings with a big ass breather on top.

But that's $$

I've had it blast out oil all over that side of the engine and other than the smell, no issues.

When you don't make power, you don;t have heat issues.

Oh and I did put the stock heat shield back.

So... we need to see some videos of the guages at work...

You have them.

Boost gauge isn't connected at the moment. Considering deleting that too. Ah, I have the Nismo one in the centre but that reads to 1.4 bar only.

They were shit clips and you know it.

Get some in the daylight with a decent camera and a proper mount

That's fine, but I haven't driven or seen the car since.

I have to put the bloody thing back together and get the wheels pointing the right way before that shit.

Ill put it on the list of things to do.

That was my most recent test and finally I have zero oil control issues :D

Because you confused the feck out of the oil and it has no clue where the feck it should go...so just sits in the engine feeling dejected

Looks worse than it is.

Rockers Tee'd into can and vented atmo.

Dipstick and "balance pipe" Tee'd into another can and vented.

Balance pipe is Nissan's attempt to equalise sump and head pressure. Connects sump to rear of intake rocker.

From factory, in 1989....

    • Maybe also really stiffly sprung track cars. Get the inside wheel up in a corner and all the fun stops. Also me sometimes (rarely) when I have to stand on the brake to convince the diff to drive the wheel that is still on the ground when I'm trying to diagonally get over severe driveway entrance, etc.
    • I feel like I'm missing something. You had an authorised installer come out and install a new alarm. Post install the car doesn't start, and you aren't getting the installer back to fix what they did wrong?
    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
