I've been loving this build and everything about it including the cosmetic details but those tail lights just don't do it for me. I prefer stock ones that are just working fine. But each to their own I guess and this is still the best build I have seen.

I've been loving this build and everything about it including the cosmetic details but those tail lights just don't do it for me. I prefer stock ones that are just working fine. But each to their own I guess and this is still the best build I have seen.

Cheers for the feedback Abdul. It's always hard to appreciate with photos (especially with my photography skills). Hold your thoughts until you them in the flesh, especially at night, they are something else :D

Same here, best build in the country but I'm still not a big fan of the tail lights and prefer the factory stuff.

Thanks Michael, cheers for the kind words. They really are 'the business' and perfectly modernise the car. Hopefully I'll get photos of them all with a decent camera soon.

Awwww yeh. Wouldn't dream of changing them man!

I love that degree of separation they give the car and for me they are one of the things I love the most about the look of the car :thumbsup:

If it helps I bought a just jap carbon boot lip fitted perfectly.

Can not say the same for the jun style front lip

Ha yeh ok, appreciate that mate. In the end I have gone with the 'no boot lip' look! Good to know about the JJ item but so cheers

And no good re the front lip...to me, nothing looks as good as the genuine Nissan lip as comes from the factory, unpainted!! :thumbsup:

      R34 GTR 4.11 gears: use R33 GTR speedo sensor?

      Hi Everyone, I did 4.11 gears in my 34 GTR and only thing that remains is to fix the speedo reading (it reads about 15% higher) using the R33 GTR speedo sensor. Few questions:   1. Does the R33 speedo sensor fit right in to the 6sp getrag? I read it does but wanted to confirm because the speedo sensors between 33 and 34 look quite different   2. The connector on the 33 speedo sensor will not plug into the connector on the getrag. Do I just need to wire the pins together manually?  See pic: https://imgur.com/a/NTDzFe8

      If the slightly higher internal EGR caused by a high flow cat causes detonation your tuner was way, way, way too aggressive to begin with. Timing scatter is a problem unless you go to a crank trigger, winter vs summer blend has different octane, list goes on.

      The H1 Alpha with the 6.6 Duramax is basically the actual powerplant it needs to be remotely ok to drive on public roads. It's just not worth the cost to buy a real one. Humvees look cool but man the reality of them is depressing. Grunts aren't kind to them but they aren't that reliable either, they have horrible payload despite absolutely massive size, zero actual armor against mines/small arms, absolutely anemic naturally aspirated diesels, list goes on.
