Should I mention I am VERY disappointed at your result lol

It always cuts deepest when someone you look upto says they are dissapointed in you lol

Out of curiousity, do you still train/lift on the odd occassion or have you more or less given it away?

Did this just now, got 14 reps at 102.5kg at 68.5kg. It recorded but when I picked it up I must have pushed cancel or something, will try again on Monday. That was without warmups and not Deadlifted in about 2 months, well traditional DL anyway.

I judge Simon harshly because he deadlifted 240kg@78kg in my gym

His effort is so poor, by our standards, and he knows this, that my 59kg wife would smash his 25 rep effort with 150% bodyweight (90kg x 25)

He was once the strongest guy in my gym, now would get beaten by the women

I'm not judging anyone else on here, but he's one of mine

to be fair Nina would smash a lot of guys at many different lifts... I'm a bit of a fan of hers!

he's not been training for it and still gave it a go so props to him for putting the vid up

your very clever with the way you motivate people, it works too... but your so much like my old man its scary lol

Have not read back to see who's completed the challenge yet, but I sort of gave this a shot for fun on friday without filming.

Did 17 reps @100kg without pausing, so I think I could do 20.

No grip assists, no belt.

EDIT: Did bother to read back through, and realised it's now running on 1.5xBW.

I'll properly attempt it this week. Pretty sure I weigh about 88 so holy shit I have to pull 132 for reps.

Tried this again lastnight; pulled 10 x 120kg before my grip gave way. Didn't have my training partner to video, so will attempt again and film on Friday...maybe at the start of the workout...gotta get that 14...

Also I'll be doing it again this evening in an attempt to better my 14...here's hoping my legs don't give out though, can hardly walk properly thanks to some intense squat sets on Monday lol

Trying doing squats right before the challenge ya pussy :P

Wicked effort Birds. Its the grip that kills ya hey.

So does this mean so far im guna have to do 15 reps at 150kgs to come into contention?

My hands are guna DIE! lol

Thanks bruv. Yes, yes it does.

Would be easier lol, my legs were fine immediately after squats on Monday. It wasn't until halfway through yesterday that they started getting sore...now today they're completely f**ked lol

    • If you mean the alarm immobiliser; theyre internal to the alarm itself which makes that difficult; I couldnt even see where he put it; its not in the same place as last time; but with all black wiring it might be very challenging to trace  I had someone turn the key for me as I know it only primes for a couple of seconds As my post above; I am getting no voltage to the pump at all; but I am testing continuity of the power line (SB) from the pump plug to the relay fine. As well as the negative from the pump plug to a 12V constant.    Yeah; he blammed the no start on a bad battery; said I needed to get a new battery and it'll start. Turns out the battery drained because the tail lights had been on for half the day during the install (the rubber cushion on the brake switch gave out while he was testing it as I have a picture of the car from that morning with the tail lights off..i've replaced that). The battery was turning over the engine just fine for a long time; but got low since lights were draining it so it was too low to test a start after he finished. I bought a new one on his advice...$250 wasted. My original battery charged up just fine and is healthy.    It was running perfectly fine when I messed up the old alarm (programmed out the remotes). He couldnt start it after removing the old alarm; my assumption is that when he unhooked it; he didnt bridge the circuit back when trying to start it. Its always been perfectly fine. The ECU swap and pump were 2 years ago. It's never missed a beat in that time.
    • This is a big issue for me without the diff. I just have zero drive from the passenger side when drivers side has no traction. Bec's parents place has a crazy steep driveway with odd camber and I have never been able to get up. My bro-in-law's 130i with an (unknown brand) LSD gets up fine as does their dad's Hiace. My car stays at the bottom. We have other odd camber roads around here as we're elevated a bit and if it's raining I can get totally stuck around some hairpins.
    • Yeah, I am super excited for this.
    • Was the car running before he touched the car?
