Opinions needed!!

what do you think? would they look any good? (well better than r33 stockers anyway!!). The centre caps will be GONE, and replaced with...something..dunno what :)

I've heard they would fit ok being 5 stud, but does anyone know if it's a hassle?

ps. if anyone has some time on their hands and could photochop them onto a wine red r33, i will love you forever :) :)

There is a few things to consider first PCD, offset, width. Having 5 holes is only 1 piece of the puzzle.

You should find some and try them on before you get any further into buying some. They might stick out of the guards or need big spacers. They might be too narrow for decent tyres at the back.

In general though I think they look pretty good. What do they look like without centre caps though? could ruin the whole idea.

could just replace the centrecaps with something generic most of the factory rims made for ford come from ROH so they may have some ROH caps or blank caps that will fit onto those rims.

i would be interested to see the results of the photo chop

:)

heres my attempt at a photochop pretty amateur but hope it gives you an idea of what it looks like :) sorry i couldnt find a good photo of a wine red skyline but you get the idea :headspin:

Hope the owner of the car in the photo doesnt mind that I put some falcoon rims on his ride :)

G'day Shell - I reckon they would look great.

One thing to think about is the size of the front brakes on the R33's are pretty big compared to a lot of other cars (4 spot brakes), so the off set may not clear them :)

Worth a try though :D And for the centre caps, you'd be able to make up a sticker to go over the 'ford' on them without an problems.

P.S. - I might have a set of R34 GTt rims for sale soon if my car is written off.... :)

thanx for the pic, mcnamg...they look pretty good!

I'm just soooo sick of the stock rims...and i'll be getting these for free (if my bf still goes ahead with upgrading his XR rims!!) And they'll be 17's too yay!

Jay, i would have thought the front brakes on the XR's would be pretty big?? but yeah, worth a shot anyway, it's no loss if they don't fit :(

    • Or, the height of the release bearing is not correct for your combo. Start with the bleeding and checking the slave moves throughout its range when you press the pedal (2 person required), but it is possible for the height to be internally wrong too (box back off to measure.
    • Yes, there's quite a few things that can go wrong during a clutch install. Very unlikely. I have a similar clutch. They (ACS) make good gear. No, it is not normal. It is possible that you just need to bleed the clutch slave. But the new clutch will also have a more aggressive actuation force/pressure, and so your old slave cylinder might be a bit leaky or otherwise compromised, and not up to the extra force required. Or the master cylinder, same.
    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
