200, 000Kms Service

Hi guys, my car is coming up to its 200, 000kms service, just need to know what I need to replace/ tighten etc

So far on my list of things I'm doing

Service kit

Going with genuine nissan waterpump and going with the gates heavy duty timing belt.

Also going to do:

Cam cover gaskets

Gearbox oil

Spark plugs

Coolant

Engine oil

Diff oil

Is there anything else I should really be doing while I'm doing all the above?

I'd probably do brake fluid and power steering fluid at the same time.

Don't worry there are plenty of skylines with over 140 000kms on them, its just the odometers have been wound back 100 000kms

mine had 163 when I got rid of it...

but as stated above, definetly do all your fluids. then drive faster

Brakes, clutch fluid, power steering...

Flux capacitor probably needs changing as well. Ask Greg for his advice on this one..

They all have papers too, so you know the k's are legit.

Same as the 100k service I would reckon, I cant see anything else you would need to do.

If doing waterpump I'd do thermostat also. And the idler bearing fasteners would also be cheap insurance.

Could put a whole gasket/seal kit through it also (especially if you have any leaks?). You will have most of it apart anyway...

Get some contact cleaner and tiny files and clean all your injector/coilpack/afm/cas etc connectors.

Cheers mike will be doing as much as I can with the cash I have. Injectors are all getting replaced later this year anyway but may be worth giving a clean

Don't bother cleaning the injectors as such, just all the electrical connectors you can find. Spray them with contact cleaner then scrape all the corrosion off the pins and re-tension all the female connectors.

Throttle body clean, inter cooler pipes flush, inter cooler flush. Check turbo seals.

Tighten inter cooler pipes or check them. As zac has found his were loose.
