I for one would liked to have seen you there Brian

There was another red r35 and the run I saw was a 13.6

Was awesome to watch :D

Especially the side x side down the strip

Big laugh watching the Motive DVD turbo diesel have a go - bahaha

but their black 32 hauled arse hard

Would have gone down if the team needed me to, but i think the SAU team selected would beat my R35 im only good for low 11's. maybe a high 10 with E85 as its set up for WTA. Not sure what the other R35 from the HSV club is doing only 13.6? Should be in the 11's easily

The red r35 driving for the commodore club did an 11.2. The driver was 75 yrs old lol

We won the day and the series. Down by a bit coming into this round, and ended up 180pts clear!

Luckily for us the quickest evo (10.8@149 I think) wasn't on the evo team. Evo team was mostly running 12s.

I find it exciting when horsepower wins from behind on the home straight!

Congratulations all from #1 to #3 :)

Big thanks to NULON a great Aussie Company for organising this 3 event series!

Well done to everyone on the team and thanks to everyone that came out to support!

Unfortunately on my first run (where I was deliberately taking it easy) turned out tone my only run for the day with the alternator coming loose and pushing off all the cars belts, also catching them in the fan and pushing it into the radiator. Belts were easy to solve but fat chance finding a radiator in Cootamundra!

Still, was happy that even on a test run my car was effortlessly putting out 141mph!

maybe it's time my bitch hauled some arse in some SAU events and payed her way in life (bloody prima donna)

PS. good to meet see you again Black Templar

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
