by the time you charge it would be the same money, but yeah get a LS and keep it N/A

or just sell the POS as is and move on

2 x 2nd had XR6 turbos at like 4 psi wouldn't cost a lot

what if i told you the niqab and burqa has no place in modern islam? :O

its even banned in syria

Alternately:

Found out my "blown head gasket" is actually a cracked block... 7000kms after the build.

$12,000 to fix like last time and 6 months+

Also stock neo, $2500-3k.

mmmmmmmm...

Time for a new hobby

Are you married? Have kids?

What does your wife think about this money pit?

Major cognitive dissonance for a lefty to witness a symbol of oppression banned as a civil liberty

Try fear mongering... I'm sure it's still legal to wear a motorbike helmet and carry a backpack...

Irrelevant snide comment = the final refuge of the defeated

I wouldn't go that far... the sarcasm = the relevance

You actually have to remove your helmet to enter a bank, petrol station etc, which takes a lot more effort than removing a burqa hood, so I don't see the issue with banning them.

Neither have been forced on people historically or in the present time as far as I know

Islam and religion in a broader sense is often a law unto itself, both statutory and socially (you have to respect someone's religion - why?), so I do smile whenever I see a country stand up and offer some form of restriction over any religious practices instead of bending over for it, no matter how harmless these practices may seem on the surface. It's a slippery slope what you allow and don't allow. Before you know it people who practice a religion have more civil liberties than those who don't, which has been the whole spark of the Flying Spaghetti Monster shit - a laughable satire that can't be fairly denied.

Having seen more than a few live leak videos that leftists are often blind to...Palestinian women concealing butcher knives in their hijabs and trying to stab random Israelis...there are some good reasons to fk off something that in most cases is a symbol of oppression from an ancient and outdated and irrelevant religion.

You really tryin to rustle hams jimmies.!

Lol @ easier... In some cases a burqa isn't even a separate head piece. Can be easier or harder but somehow I don't think that's in any way related or formed any of the decisioning process.

Again not even close to the issue. That's just you projecting your own views onto the situation.

They didn't ban them for women's rights

You realise that by saying "It's a slippery slope what you allow and don't allow" you are perfectly validating one of the major reasons people say it shouldn't be banned....

And as for hiding a knife in a hijab, that's an absolute nonsense reason... unless you also think we should ban trenchcoats, suit jackets, non skin tight jeans, backpacks, suitcases, sweaters etc etc etc.

There are 100 places to hide a knife on a person, none of which specificly require the clothing of any religion.

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
