Yeah says hi boost setting 460kws maybe that's engine KW? not sure but I'd be wanting full proof and receipts with that car
Guy I've got on facebook just got an 07' Supercharged Lotus I think it cost him about 60k
Looks cool but wouldn't be very practical hah

He isnt tall then? For a laugh one of the nsw guys tried to get one of the taller members into his exige, he could almost drive it looking over the top of the windscreen, if his knees weren't in the way of turning the wheel.

Can't hate the Swift Sport; weighs under a ton with a 1.4 turbo

Interested to see how that drives and responds to light tuning. Would surely handle very well.

Japan are into them already, HKS does some gear for the new Swift

Going to help my brother sell his S2 r33 gtst

What's it worth? basically suites a drift car / track car now as rego expired and has been sitting the last 5 years+ in the weather.
Owned it for like 10 years now.

Interior is spotless funnily enough, body is straight although has some surface rust spots now.

Has advan forged wheels, and the usual GTST mods for the 300kw combo

The bad things:

No turbo or manifold on it or exhaust, comes with all the stuff on the side though.
Doesn't run but will roll, probably not much to get it going, i think he was only changing the turbo until he lost interest, fast forward till now looks like a barn find.

I'm thinking like 5k?

PJ gold rich thank you very much.

but on a more serious note I've never smoked so not really aware of pricing.

Mate asked me to pick him up a packet on the way to his place the other day,

30 pack of PJ gold rich (thus why i knew they were a thing)

From BWS $45

seriously WTF when did that happen.

Yea ive been seeing people not get change from $50 a safeway for smokes... If thats not enough reason to quit...

Not sure if applies to ciggies too but tax on cigars going to 17% + gst

Spend 20k on it

You've seen it in it's glory days, sad to see it rusting in areas of the paint :(

I reckon he's put 40k into it easy including buying.. lots of goodies on it, tempted to buy it off him but then once it's fixed opens another issue of storage / rego / insurance etc. $$

Wow thats insane, a pack a day smoker = $16,000 a year

I guess this is why people don't smoke much these days? not the whole 'unhealthy' thing, more the cost?

yeah and it seems to be working.

the few friends I have who still smoke are also the ones on the lowest income.

All are trying to give up, so the idea works but I was still shocked.

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
