SAU Circuit Times

Qld Raceway Sprint Track - 59.30 sec

Qld Racway Clubman Track - 1:02.25 sec

Qd Raceway National Track - 1:25.61 sec

Can anyoen clarify the number of circuit formats you guys use up there...it seems i have made a mess of the times as i didnt realise there was 3?!?!?! Is there more?

This was from a *very* long time ago:

Other Mods: None - stock right down to the exhaust :D

Tyres: Ventus (cheapo rubber that came with rims) - useless with no grip

Brakes: RB74 Front, rear standard, rotors standard

Brakes: bendex ultimates Front, RB74 rear, rotors standard

Updated Winton time - 4.5s off my previous PB to a 1.35.2. Very happy. (updated original post)

Mostly due to upgraded brakes and modified transfer case. Anyone with a GTR that's keen on track work the upgrades to the transfer case is one of the best mods I have ever done to my car.

ahh I got to knock 1 sec of my wakefield time today, but I am cheating now :D

ahh good question that was Andrew that has made transfer case mods, I assume more clutch plates? personally i reckon the controller acheives the same end but I would have to try em back to back.

How is your additional block ventilation mod going?

andrew what did you do to the transfer case? and mind telling me what pressures (HOT) to run the RE55 tyres :D

I was at wakefield on saturday.... however had oil catch can issues! hmmm back there on the 11th to try again!

how do we go about timing for the no speed limit days?

Duncan guessed right here. I've never used the controllers but I have been told there are some advantages of the transfer case mods over the controllers - how marginal the difference is I'm not sure so like Duncan could only tell with a back to back trial. But god damn through the tight stuff it's made a huge difference.

Ben - I run my RE55's at 30psi hot.

Actually Chris was doing some great laps considering the drives a POS 31 :D but the tyres he was using were dunlop D01J. Hope he makes it to the drift nats in Adl OK :)

I was out there last monday, Powerplay had a private track day and I took the opportunity to give the car a final shake down before the state champs at Oran Park this weekend. It ran great except for the cracked rear rotor so I should be out there OK.

We found with just the controller, it would get some slip towards the end of a race and the oil temps would climb rapidly. No slip with the additional plates, last the whole race and lower transfer case oil temps all the time.

I took the opportunity to give the car a final shake down before the state champs at Oran Park this weekend
