75 Mazda RX4 coupe (loved this thing)

71 Mazda RX2 coupe (why did i sell)

The RX4 is at the top of the list because it was my first car, had it for 6 years. It is still top of the list for most fun and the one i want back more than any other.

What a trip down memory lane.

I did put a deposit down on a 13B Turbo RX4 sedan, but my stepdad went apeshit and called the bank to cancel my loan lol
Probably a good thing as I may not be alive now hahaha

My step cousin has one under cover on car stands in a garage for the last 15 years.
Be interesting to see what its worth now days

Guess I'll give a crack at my car listing too (kind of boring):

  • Mitsubishi Magna 1989, lasted 2 months gearbox died from D-Bangers
  • Commodore VN - D-Banger beast, welded diff
  • Toyota Cressida
  • 180SX it RB20DET
  • R33 GTS-t S2 40th Anniversary
  • Honda Accord CG1 V6 (best FWD burnouts)
  • N15 Pulsar Q
  • R33 GTS-t S2 (current shit box)
  • Corolla ZZE122R
  • Mazda 3 BL SP25
  • VW Tiguan (current)

I hope all the future car purchases are European LOL

R31 GXE - still have it
R32 GTS-t - dad crashed it
R32 GT-R - still have it
N16 Pulsar - sold it for below
Gen 5 Liberty GT wagon - dog hauler

You people change cars like I change underwear :P

Why? Have you switched teams?

Sometimes I wish I changed earlier, something about them just works and makes me smile.

Funny enough getting the reflash on the Tiguan has made it so enjoyable I wonder why I even have a Skyline in the backyard. Should replace it with a Golf R LOL

I am still to get the Prado tuned, but all things point to it being a good thing (even NA as they are really very lazy).

As much as Golf R would be fun, I would feel like a bit of a girl driving it to be honest, that's more my hang up about hatches, but when I drive a car only on weekends/for fun etc I want it to look cool and VW don't make anything that looks cool. Maybe the Scirocco or whatever it was called?

Wagons bro, fairly uncool.

But that said, I also thought an RS6 or something would be fun lol

I think I'll still like the idea of a 335i/435i as a cheap fun weekender. Tune, intake, zorst and some carbon rice bits and enjoy for a year or two then flog it off nefore it needs eleventy repairs.

Just waiting for the 2km dirt road to my place to get sealed, then I just have to deal with the 400m or so of dirt driveway on my property and the 30 od degree incline at one point lol Won't be sealing that, not spending 100k on bitument lol

Real mixed bag in there, why did you get rid of the 40th anniversary?   Also, RB20 180SX is a hell of a fun combination - one of my favourite cars I've spent any time thrashing was an S13 with an RB20DET running a TD05-16G and 20psi up it and a mad screamer pipe, so so much fun.

Mine goes a little something like this:

  • 1987 Suzuki Alto
  • 1989 Honda Prelude Si
  • 1992 Honda Prelude Si-VTEC
  • 1985 Toyota Corolla FX-GT
  • 1997 Nissan Skyline GTS-25t
  • 1988 Mitsubishi Lancer GLXi (soooo economical and unexciting)
  • 1992 Honda Prelude Si-VTEC (mad regrets for selling the first one)
  • 1981 Toyota Cressida
  • 1997 Ford Fairmont
  • 2004 Honda Saber 25V
  • 2007 Mazda Axela MPS

I think I've peaked.

    • You can literally put in as much WMI as it takes to quench the combustion totally (and then back it off a little, obviously), and it will keep making more and more power. The power comes from the cooling effect of the water (and the meth) and the extra fuel (the meth, which also has massive octane). It is effectively exactly like running E85. One might be slightly better than the other, but they are damn close. But with either you can lean on the boost or the timing (or both) waaaay more than with just petrol and the results are similar. Here's the first thing I googled for an anecdotal bit of evidence. Can't access the attachment without being a gold member, but it is there for the getting if able to, or searched up elsewise perhaps. https://www.hpacademy.com/forum/general-tuning-discussion/show/wmi-vs-e85/
    • Yeah it is wild how much wider the Yokohama A050 in 255/40R17  vs Yokohama AD09 in 255/40R17 sits on the 17x9 +22 considering its even from the same brand and adjacent product family
    • Would love to see some examples of WMI making the same as E85. Only thing I've ever found is this one.  Which suggests WMI is not worth much at all.
    • And now the washer bottle looks like an orphan. You're going to have to spend money on a wrinkle black painted fabbed ally one of those. Oh, and the brake MC res. That won't look any good after you've gotten rid of the washer bottle. You going to need to go back to work to keep up with this?
