I used 50L on Saturday on 98 (150kms)....

Used a lot of 3rd gear (5-6K rpm up and over the hill and back)...

Yep - I filled it with Shell 98 on the way out  and less than 1/8th of a tank left.  Haven't refilled to verify- but given it takes a bit over 60L - 50L is what I would expect.

I was probably working harder in the rev range to keep up....

My 25det neo with ~380 kw to wheel

Driving from perth to albany, i got about 450 km to a tank, on the light, maybe could have squeezed another 10 or so ks out of it.

No narrowband or wideband hooked into ecu/tune.

I think thats pretty good haha.

Bigger turbo with generally softer response sub 3000rpm and less restrictive turbine can all contribute to fairly respectable fuel consumption in those conditions, for sure.  I agree with Jared, pretty good result when you think what it does when the taps are opened.

was suprised to see Albany had E85. was expecting you guys to bring 20 jerry can each but was suprisingly few there.Now just need it in Bunbury!!

Same, sensor tends to read around 79-80% (genuine gm continental). Only ever diluted it with 98 once, took ages to get back up to 79-80%

Yeah, if you run flex then it's really hard to get up to >80% if you aren't using straight ethanol - which means that it's also not too hard to keep it floating around 50-60% if you occasionally top up with a bit of petrol.

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
