N/A34 phil
I'm just curious as to what extractors are best for my rb25de neo, power gains, responsiveness, and sound. iruvyouskyrine
Best optiont: Adding a turbo Second best option: leaving standard exhaust and deleting a muffler. First worst option: Spending any money on an RBXXDE 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/475292-rb25de-jjr-vs-coby-vs-dea-extractors-and-any-other-extractors-what-is-best/#findComment-7889854 Share on other sites
GTSBoy
Haha. What he said. Basically, absolutely any set of extractors that wasn't designed by a moron will do effectively exactly the same job on an RB25DE. ie, add about 2 HP and sound nice. The factory exhaust manifold is not a bad one. There are only small gains to be had. Dose Pipe Sutututu
money better spent on a set of high lift, higher duration cams and raising the rev limiter Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/475292-rb25de-jjr-vs-coby-vs-dea-extractors-and-any-other-extractors-what-is-best/#findComment-7889858 Share on other sites
admS15
Best option = NOS 2 of the big ones Seriously, if you can get a cheap set of 2nd hand extractors, fair enough. Otherwise your just wasting money. The Bogan
Rear OEM muffler delete and knock out cat. Muffler delete costs about $100, made at your local exhaust shop Or cut it of yourself A drill, a big long drill bit, a hammer and big screwdriver for "fixing" the cat. If it sounds loud and shit add a small box on the rear. Done, you car is now like mine, noisy, and slow....... I can tell you, when I was on my Provisional license and had a RB swapped 180SX I wasn't the most sensible person in the world. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/475292-rb25de-jjr-vs-coby-vs-dea-extractors-and-any-other-extractors-what-is-best/#findComment-7890106 Share on other sites
